Dockerfile: self-contained image with corpus + Chroma + BM25 baked
in. Drawbar's compose pulls + runs without volume mounts. Built from
sources.json (labels schema), PRODUCT_NAME=crop_chem by default,
HYBRID_SEARCH=true (always-on for production quality). RERANK_URL +
OLLAMA_URL get set at compose time.

.gitea/workflows/refresh.yml: monthly cron (1st @ 06:00 UTC) does
full scrape → reindex → image push. Scrapes Bayer (~30 min) +
EPA PPLS row-crop filtered (~7h). Skips reindex+push if no corpus
diff. Tags pushed: :latest, :<sha12>, :corpus-<YYYY.MM.DD>.

.gitea/workflows/image-only.yml: on-demand or auto on code-only
pushes to main (paths: docs_mcp/, rag/, scrape/, requirements.txt,
Dockerfile, sources.json). Reindexes from committed corpus, builds
image, pushes. ~10 min vs ~9h full refresh.

.gitignore: corpus/ now COMMITTED (4,159 labels, 265 MB of .md +
sidecars). Lets image-only.yml rebuild indexes without re-scraping.
chroma/ + bm25/ still gitignored (regenerable binary indexes).

.dockerignore: drops venv, eval results, PLAN/README/CLAUDE.md,
deploy/, .git/ — keeps the image lean. corpus + chroma + bm25
explicitly NOT in dockerignore (those go INTO the image).

FIRST AID

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
DANGER—PELIGRO
Corrosive. Causes irreversible eye damage. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin.
Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Some materials that are chemical-resistant to this product is any waterproof material. If you want more options, follow the instructions for
category “A” on an EPA chemical-resistant category selection chart.
Mixers, loaders, applicators, flaggers and other handlers must wear:
• Long-sleeved shirt and long pants,
• Protective eyewear,
• Shoes plus socks,
• Chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof materials which meet the requirements of EPA selection Category A, when mixing,
loading, or using any hand-held equipment,
Additional PPE requirements for mixers and loaders supporting aerial application to rangelands, pasture lands, or non-crop land. These
mixers/loaders must also wear a chemical-resistant apron and must wear a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)
approved half-mask respirator equipped with any N, R, P or HE series particulate air filters and has the approval number prefix (84A-XXX).
It is recommended that you require that respirator wearers be fit tested, and trained in the proper use, care, cleaning, insp ection, and storage
of the respirator. Refer to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standard on respiratory protection (29 C FR 191 0.1 34)
for additional information.
Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water.
Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.
See engineering controls for additional requirements.
Engineering controls:
When handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or aircraft in a manner that meets with requirements listed in the Worker Protection
Standard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides [40 CFR 170.240 (d) (4 -6)], the handler PPE requirements may be reduced or modified as
specified in the WPS.
Pilots must use an enclosed cockpit that meets the requirements listed in the WPS for agricultural pesticides [40 CFR 170.240(d)(6)].
USER SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
Users should:
• Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.
• Remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.
• Remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash
thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS
This pesticide may be toxic to fish, aquatic invertebrates and aquatic plants. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is
present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Drift and runoff may affect non-target plants and be hazardous to aquatic
organisms in water adjacent to treated areas. Runoff of this product will be reduced by avoiding applications when rainfall is forecasted to
occur within 48 hours. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash waters or rinsate.
This chemical has properties and characteristics associated with chemicals detected in groundwater. The use of this chemical in areas
where soils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in groundwater contamination.
Groundwater Contamination:
Most cases of groundwater contamination involving phenoxy herbicides such as MCPA have been associated with mixing/loading an d
disposal sites. Caution should be exercised when handling MCPA pesticides at such sites to prevent contamination of groundwat er
supplies. Use of closed systems for mixing and transferring this pesticide will reduce the probability of spills. Placement of the mixing/
loading equipment on an impervious pad to contain spills will help prevent groundwater contamination.
Cleaning of Equipment: When cleaning equipment, do not pour washwater on the ground; spray or drain over a large area away from
wells and other water sources.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers
may be in the area during application.
Keep people and pets out of the area during application. Do not allow people or pets to enter the area until sprays have dried.
For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.
AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS
Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR part 170. This Standard contains
requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses, and handlers of agricu ltural
pesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specific
instructions and exceptions pertaining to the statements on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE) and restricted-entry
interval. The requirements in this box only apply to uses of this product that are covered by the Worker Protection Standard.
Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the restricted entry interval (REI) of 48 hours.
PPE required for early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the Worker Protection Standard and that involves contact with
anything that has been treated, such as plants, soil, or water, is:
• Coveralls,
• Chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material,
• Shoes plus socks,
• Protective eyewear.
NON-AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS
The requirements in this box apply to uses of this product that are NOT within the scope of the Worker Protection Standard fo r
agricultural pesticides (40 CFR Part 170). The WPS applies when this product is used to produce agricultural plants on farms, forests,
nurseries, or greenhouses.
Do not allow people (other than applicator) or pets on treatment area during application.
Do not enter or allow others to enter treated areas until sprays have dried.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
This product is an amine salt formulation of MCP (2 -Methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid), a selective herbicide similar to 2,4 -D. Certain
crops, such as flax, oats, and rice appear to be more tolerant of MCP than 2,4-D, and some weeds such as mustard and Canada thistle
are more easily controlled by MCP than 2,4-D.
Generally, the lower dosages listed will be satisfactory for young, succulent growth of sensitive weed species. For less sensitive species
and under conditions where control is more difficult, the higher dosages will be needed. Use moderate spray pressure (20.0 pounds) and
enough spray volume for good coverage, usually 5.0 to 20.0 gallons per acre by ground equipment and at least 2.0 to 5.0 gallo ns per
acre by air. Higher spray volumes may be useful in some situations to provide better spray coverage of weed foliage and to reduce spray
drift. The use of adjuvants such as wetting agents may increase herbicidal effectiveness but may also decrease selectivity.
Agitation is helpful to assure uniform mixing, but is not necessary after the product has been completely dispersed. Use of t his product
may be governed in certain areas by local regulations. MCP produces best results when applied to weeds growing rapidly. Thorough
coverage is important. Lack of moisture may cause less effective control. Some perennial weeds may require repeat treatment f or control. Treat
such weeds at bud stage if this occurs during a period when crop is not unduly susceptible.
RESTRICTIONS
• DO NOT apply this product through any type of irrigation system.
• Extreme care must be used when applying MCP to prevent injuring desirable plants and crops.
• MCP must not be applied in the vicinity of susceptible crops such as cotton, tomatoes, vegetables, grapes, fruit trees, soybeans,
tobacco and beans.
• DO NOT allow spray mist to drift on to such plants, since even minute quantities of spray may cause severe injury.
• DO NOT use in greenhouses.
• DO NOT use in any manner other than recommended on the label to avoid possible crop injury or illegal residues at harvest.
• Read and carefully observe the cautionary statements and all other information appearing on labeling of all products used in mixtures.
• DO NOT contaminate water used for irrigation, domestic or spray purposes.
• DO NOT contaminate seed, feed, foodstuffs, fertilizers, insecticides or fungicides.

PRECAUTIONS
• Large amounts of MCP in the soil may temporarily inhibit seed germination.
• It is best to use a separate sprayer for application of MCP herbicides. If the same sprayer must be used for other crop spraying, it must
be flushed thoroughly with water immediately after use. Next, fill equipment with water containing 1.0 volume of household ammonia
to 100 volumes of water, and allow to stand for 1 day. Then flush equipment thoroughly, including hoses and nozzles, several times
with water.
SPRAY DRIFT MANAGEMENT
Avoiding spray drift at the application site is the responsibility of the applicator. The interaction of many equipment - and weather-
related factors determine the potential for spray drift. The applicator and the grower are responsible for considering all these factors
when making decisions.
Apply only as a medium or coarser spray (ASAE standard 572) or a volume mean diameter of 300 microns or greater for spinning
atomizer nozzles.
Apply only when the wind speed is 2 to 10 mph at the application site.
For groundboom applications, do not apply with a nozzle height greater than 4 feet above the crop canopy.
Aerial Applications: The boom length must not exceed 75% of the wingspan or 90% of the rotor blade diameter.
Release spray at the lowest height consistent with efficacy and flight safety. Do not release spray at a height greater thatthan 10 feet
above the crop canopy.
When applications are made with a crosswind, the swath will be displaced downwind. The applicator must compensate for this
displacement at the downwind edge of the application area by adjusting the path of the aircraft upwind.
Do not make applications into temperature inversions.
PREPARING THE SPRAY: Mix MCP Amine 4 with water, unless otherwise directed on this label. Fill the mixing tank or spray tank about
half full with water, then add the required amount of this product with agitation. NOTE: Adding oil, wetting agent or other s urfactant to the
spray may reduce selectivity to crops, possibly resulting in crop injury.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
PROHIBITIONS: Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.
PESTICIDE STORAGE: Do not store below temperature of 25 °F. If frozen, warm to 70 °F,. and redissolve before
using by rolling or shaking the container. Store in safe manner. Store in original container only. Keep container tightly
closed when not in use. Reduce stacking height where local conditions can affect package strength. Personnel should
use clothing and equipment consistent with good pesticide handling.
PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous. Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray
mixture, or rinsate is a violation of Federal law. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label
instructions, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency, or the Hazardous Waste representative at
the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance.
CONTAINER HANDLING: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse this container to hold materials other than pesticides
or dilute pesticides (rinsate). After emptying and cleaning, it may be allowable to temporarily hold rinsate or other
pesticide-related materials in the container. Contact your state regulatory agency to determine allowable practices in
your state. Once cleaned, some agricultural plastic pesticide containers can be taken to a container collection site or
picked up for recycling. To find the nearest site, contact your chemical dealer or manufacturer, or contact The
Agricultural Container Recycling Council (ACRC) at www.agcrecyclinge.org. If not recycled, then puncture and dispose
of in a sanitary landfill, or incineration, or if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of
smoke. Triple rinse or pressure rinse container (or equivalent) promptly after emptying.
For packages up to 5 gallons: Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a
mix tank and drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Fill the container 1/4 full with water and recap. Shake for
10 seconds. Pour rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal. Drain for 10
seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat this procedure two more times. Pressure rinse as follows: Empty the
remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank and continue to drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins
to drip. Hold container upside down over application equipment or mix tank or collect rinsate for later use or disposal.
Insert pressure rinsing nozzle in the side of the container, and rinse at about 40 PSI for at least 30 seconds. Drain for
10 seconds after the flow begins to drip.
For 30 gal drums: Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank. Fill
the container 1/4 full with water. Replace and tighten closures. Tip container on its side and roll it back and forth,
ensuring at least one complete revolution, for 30 seconds. Stand the container on its end and tip it back and forth
several times. Empty the rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal.
Repeat this procedure two more times. Pressure rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application
equipment or a mix tank and continue to drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Hold container upside down
over application equipment or mix tank or collect rinsate for later use or disposal. Inser t pressure rinsing nozzle in the
side of the container, and rinse at about 40 PSI for at least 30 seconds. Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to
drip.
For refillable containers: Refill this container with pesticide only. Do not reuse this container for any other purpose.
Cleaning the container before final disposal is the responsibility of the person disposing of the container. Cleaning
before refilling is the responsibility of the refiller. To clean the container before final disposal, empty the remaining
contents from this container into application equipment or mix tank. Fill the container about 10 percent full with water.
Agitate vigorously or recirculate water with the pump for 2 minutes. Pour or pump rinsate into application equipment or
rinsate collection system. Repeat this rinsing procedure two more times.
