SUPPLEMENTAL LABELING 
"AMIBEN'-" OS AND "CROP OIL" FOR POSTEMERGENCE WEED CONTROL IN 
SOYBEANS 
For programmed weed control apply a preemergence or preplan! incorporated grass herbicide at 
planting followed by a later application of AMIBEN' DS plus crop oil concentrate when soybeans 
are in the cracking to .tth trifoliate stage of growth and weeds are I to 4 inches tall. Apply a tank 
mixture of 3.6 pounds of AMIBEN' OS plus I quart per acre of crop oil concentrate to control or 
suppress Pennsylvania smarlweed, velvetleaf, common ragweed and pigweed causing weeds to 
either die or cease growth and become noncompetitive with the crop. Application at this timing 
provides both postemergence activity on the above species and extended preemergence activity on 
those late germinating annual grass and broad leaf weeds listed in the general information section 
of Ihe AMIBEN' OS label which have nol yet germinated at the time of treatment. Make 
applications il110 to 20 gallons water per acre by ground or 2 to 5 gallons water per acre by air. Under 
good soil moisture conditions this treatment will control small grassy weeds (I to 2 leaf) if rainfall 
occurs within 48 hours of application. 
Caution: Do not use soybean straw or green fodder wl,ich has been treated postemergence with 
AMIBEN' OS for livestock feed. Do not apply later than 33 days after planting. 
Do not apply more than 3.6 pounds per acre of AMIBEN' OS alone or in co,.,..t:>'~?'i~" "' 5 
postemergence treatment. If a preemergence or preplant soil incorporated application of AMIBEN· 
OS is made, do not apply more than a total of 7.2 pounds of AMI BEN ' OS per acre per growing 
season (3.6 pounds preemergence plus 3.6 pounds post emergence). 
"AMIBEN" " OS AND "BASAGRAN" FOR POSTEMERGENCE WEED CONTROL 
IN SOYBEANS 
GENERAL INFORMATION 
When applied to small actively growing weeds a tank mixture of AMIBEN' DS chlorarnben 
herbicide plus Basagran will control pigweed and all other weeds listed on the Basagran label 
including cocklebur, velvetleaf, wild mustard, Jimsonweed, Pennsylvania smartweed and common 
ragweed. In addition the tank mixture of AMI BEN' OS plus Basagran will provide preemergence 
control of those grass and broadleaf weeds listed in the general information section of the 
AMIBEN' OS label which have not yet germinated at time of treatment. The combination will not 
control grassy weeds which have already emerged and Ehould only be applied to fields which have 
received a preemergence or preplant incorporated treatment of a grass control he .. blclde. In additIOn 
to providing preemergence control of late germinating weeds this combination will provide 
increased control of large velvetleaf, Pennsylvania smartweed and pigweed which are approaching 
the maximum size listed on the Basagran label. 
USE DIRECTIONS 
Apply a tank mixture of 2.4 to 3.6 pounds AMI BEN ' OS plus 3/4 to I quart Basagran in a minimum 
of 10 to 20 gallons water per acre with ground equipment or in 3 to 5 gallons water per acre with 
aerial equipment. Make applications when weeds are 2 to 8 inches tall as directed on the 8asagran 
label. Use the higher rates when weeds are larger than 2 to 4 inches. Addition of 1 quart per acre of a 
crop oil concentrate has shown increased postemergence control of larger weeds. Do not make 
applications later than 33 days after planting. 
Clutlon: Do not use soybean straw or green fodder which has been treated postemergence With 
AMIBEN' OS pIuS Basagran for livestock feed. Read and observe all directions and cautions on 
labels for Basagran and AMIBEN' OS.

program and should only be applied to fields which have received a preemergence or preplant 
incorporated grass herbicide treatment as directed on the AMIBEN' OS label. In addition to 
providing preemergence control of late germinating weeds the combination of AMIBEN' OS plus 
Blazer will provide control of small velvet leaf and Increased control of Pennsylvania smartweed. and 
pigweed which are approaching the maximum weed size listed on the Blazer label. 
USE DIRECTIONS 
Apply a tank mixture of 3.0 to 3.6 pounds AMIBEN' OS plus I 1/2 to 2 pints Blazer when broadleal 
weeds have 2 to 4 leaves as directed on the Blazer label. Use the higher rate on larger weeds. Use 10 
to 20 gallons of water per acre with ground equipment to insure good coverage. Do not make 
applications later than 33 days after planting. Do not add a surfactant or crop oil when using the 
combination of AMI BEN' OS plus Blazer, 
Caution: Do not use soybean straw or green fodder which has been treated postemergence with 
AMIBEN' OS plus Blazer for livestock feed. Read and observe all directions and cautions on labels 
for Blazer and AMIBEN' , 
"AMIBEN' .. OS AND "BUTYRAC' .. 200 FOR POSTEMERGENCE WEED CONTROL

GENERAL INFORMATION 
When applied as directed below a tank mixture of AMIBEN' OS chloramben herbicide plus 
Butyrac! 200 will control or suppress pigweed, velvetleaf, cocklebur and Pennsylvania smartweed 
causing them to either die or become noncompetitive with the crop. In addition, this tank mixture 
will provide preemergence control of those grass and broad leaf weeds listed in the general 
information section of the AMIBEN' OS label which have not yet germinated at time of treatment. 
The tank mixture of AMIBEN' OS plus Butyrac' 200 will not control emerged grassy weeds and 
should only be used on fields which have received a preemergence or preplant incorporated grass 
control herbicide. This combination may cause temporary twisting, curling or malformation of 
soybean leaves and stems. Soybeans will usua!ly outgrow these effects with no reduction in Yield. 
00 not apply to fields which are under stress from moisture or disease. 
USE DIRECTIONS 
Applya tank mixture of 3.0 to 3.6 pounds AMIBEN' OS plus 2 to 3 fluid ounces Butyrac' 200 in 10 
to 20 gallons of water per acre by ground equipment when soybeans have 3 to 6 trifoliate leaves and 
weeds are I to 4 inches tall. Use the higher rate when weeds are 3 . 4 inches tall. Do not make 
application later than 33 days after planting. When weed pressure is heavy addition of I pint per acre 
of crop oil concentrate has improved weed control. 
Caullon: Do not use soybean straw or green fodder which has been treated postemergence with 
AMIBEN' OS plus Butyrac' 200 for livestock feed. Read and observe directions and cautions on 
labels for Butyrac' 200 and AMIBEN' . 
"AMIBEN' .. OS PLUS "ALANAP" FOR POSTEMERGENCE WEED CONTROL IN 
SOYBEANS 
GENERAL INFORMATION 
When applied according to the directions below a tank mixture of AMIBEN'- OS chloramben

Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. 
STATEMENT OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT 
If swallowed, call a physician or Poison Control Center. Drink 1 to 2 glasses of water and induce 
vomiting by touching back of throat with Hnger. 00 not induce vomiting or give anything by mouth to 
an unconscious person. 
In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water and remove contaminated 
clothing. 
In case of eye contact. flush with plenty of water. Get medical attention. 
If inhaled, remove victim to fresh air. 
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS 
Do not apply directly to water. Do not contaminate water used for irrigatior or domesllc purposes 
by cleaning of equipment Or disposal of waste. 
DIRECTIONS FOR USE 
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. 
Clean sprayers thoroughly before using to apply AMIBEN' OS. To clean sprayer after using 
AMIBEN' OS, rinse all parts of sprayer with water several times. 
Avoid spray drift to adjacent crops as injury may result. Coarse sprays are less likely to drift. 
Do not graze treated field of sunflowers or use these plants as livestock feed. 
Do not store near fertilizers, seeds. insecticides. or fungicides. Do not contaminate water. fOOd. or 
feed by storage or disposal. Open dumping is prohibited. 
Pesticide, spray mixture. or rinse water that cannot be used according to label instructions must 
be disposed of according to applicable Federal, state, or local procedures.
