For Desiccation and Residual Control of Annual Broadleaf Weeds and Grasses Where Sorghum Will Be Planted Directly Into Previous Crop Residues. Apply the recommended rate of COLONEL from Table 4 prior to, during, or after planting, but prior to crop emergence" Apply in 20-60 gals. of water per acre. Add a nonionic surfactant at the rate of 16-32 fl. oz. per 100 gals. of diluted spray. Water or nitrogen solutions may be used as a carrier. Add COLONEL to spray tank first, mixing thoroughly with carrier. Then add surfactant. Constant agitation is recommended at all times. This treatment will not control volunteer sorghum or shattercane which emerges after application.
