Wells: The above mentioned amendment submitted in connection with registration under the Federal Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), is acceptable provided you make the required changes listed below: 1. Under the crop "Alfalfa - the dessication of alfalfa to facilitate harvest of alfalfa seed" use must be restricted to use only in the following states: rD, MT, NY, OR, UT, Wi\., AND WY. 2. This submission was made prior to the Agency's letter of February 12, 2001 to all registrants of paraquat products. In that letter, registrants were informed of labeling changes that were necessary to protect applicators and handlers against hazards associated with inhalation exposure. EPA is requiring that the "Personal Protective Equipment" section oflabels be expanded to include, "A NIOSH­ approved respirator with any N, R, P, or HE filter."
