SUTAZINE+ on fertilizer partiCles and uniform application we necessary to 8SSU'e good

combinations.

Apply the recommended dosa('8 In 10 to 50 gallons of water per acre (use the higher volume 
in arid areas) using a properly calibrated,low-pressure type nozzle (flood, ,.,.. or IWIrI chamber) 
on boorntype sprayer having good, but not excessive agitation. Check frequently during 
application to be sure nozzles are free from clogging and are delivering a uniform spray 
pattem. 
The herbicides must be Incorporated Into the soli within 4 hours (within 1 hour In Western 
Region) to prevent loss of the SUTAZINE+ 6.25ME. Whenever possible, application and 
Incorporation should be done In the same operation. Apply the herblc:ldes to soli dry enough 10 
perm" good sol! mixing.

and delayed only If soil moisture conditions permit. See AppendIx III for directions on the delay In 
soil Incorporation. 
PLANTING 
Do not plant seed deeper than 2 Inches. For. SUTAZINE+ 6.25Mf. application mede before 
planting, seeding can be done Immediately, or It may be delayed up to 2 weeks*. To avoid 
removing SUTAZINE+ from the row (with loss 01 weed control In the row), do not move or shape

The following procedure II auggested for determining wheUl8I' SUTAZINE+ 6.25ME may be 
combined with a apecIfic tIuId fertilizer for spray tank application. 
MATERIALS REQUIRED: 
1. SUTAZlNE+ 6.25ME 
2. Fluid fertilizer to be used. 
3. Tank mix adjuvants for fluid fertilizer combinations: Compex*, 
Sponto 168-0*, Unite- or equivalent. The adjuvant which provides the best compatibility 
depends on the apecHic fertilizer involved. 
*Compex. KaJo Laboratortes Inc., Kansas CIty, Missouri; Sponto 168-0, w.tco Chemical 
Company, Houston, TeMS; Unite, HopkIns Agricultural Chemical Company, Madison,

4. Two one-quart, wldHTlOUth glass jars with lids. 
5. Measuring spoons; a graduated pipette or cylinder wiD provide more accurate 
measurement; 1 tablespoon equals 3 teaspoons, 1 teaspoon equals approximately 5
