Dockerfile: self-contained image with corpus + Chroma + BM25 baked in. Drawbar's compose pulls + runs without volume mounts. Built from sources.json (labels schema), PRODUCT_NAME=crop_chem by default, HYBRID_SEARCH=true (always-on for production quality). RERANK_URL + OLLAMA_URL get set at compose time. .gitea/workflows/refresh.yml: monthly cron (1st @ 06:00 UTC) does full scrape → reindex → image push. Scrapes Bayer (~30 min) + EPA PPLS row-crop filtered (~7h). Skips reindex+push if no corpus diff. Tags pushed: :latest, :<sha12>, :corpus-<YYYY.MM.DD>. .gitea/workflows/image-only.yml: on-demand or auto on code-only pushes to main (paths: docs_mcp/, rag/, scrape/, requirements.txt, Dockerfile, sources.json). Reindexes from committed corpus, builds image, pushes. ~10 min vs ~9h full refresh. .gitignore: corpus/ now COMMITTED (4,159 labels, 265 MB of .md + sidecars). Lets image-only.yml rebuild indexes without re-scraping. chroma/ + bm25/ still gitignored (regenerable binary indexes). .dockerignore: drops venv, eval results, PLAN/README/CLAUDE.md, deploy/, .git/ — keeps the image lean. corpus + chroma + bm25 explicitly NOT in dockerignore (those go INTO the image). Ensure that planting equipment is functioning properly in accordance with manufacturer specification to minimize seed coat abrasion during planting to reduce dust which can drift to blooming crops or weeds. This product is highly toxic to birds wildlife and highly toxic to aquatic invertebrates. For terrestrial uses, do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters. Cover or incorporate spilled treated seeds. DIRECTIONS FOR USE It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. For use in commercial seed treaters only, with the exception of application to borage, canola, cotton (delinted seed), crambe, field corn, flax, mustard seed, oats, rape seed, rye, safflower, sorghum, sunflowers, triticale, wheat and barley, which may be made either by commercial seed treatment or as an end-use seed treatment on agricultural establishments at, or immediately before, planting. This product is to be used in liquid or slurry treaters. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation. Mix thoroughly before use or use entire container at one time. All tank mixes must be pre-tested to determine physical compatibility between formulations. Observe all cautions and limitations on labeling of all products used in mixtures. AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard, 40CFR part 170. This Standard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesticides. It also contains specific instructions and exceptions pertaining to the statements on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE) and restricted-entry interval. The requirements in this box only apply to uses of this product that are covered by the Worker Protection Standard. 2
Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the restricted entry interval (REI) of 12 hours. Exception: If the seed is treated with the product and the treated seed is soil-injected or soil-incorporated, the Worker Protection Standard, under certain circumstances, allows workers to enter the treated area if there will be no contact with anything that has been treated. PPE required for early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the Worker Protection Standard and that involves contact with anything that has been treated, such as plants, soil, or water is:
- Coveralls
- Chemical-resistant gloves (such as nitrile, butyl, neoprene, barrier laminate, polyvinyl chloride or Viton).
- Shoes plus socks
- Protective eyewear. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL PROHIBITIONS: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage, disposal, or by cleaning of equipment. Do not reuse empty container. CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Use label language appropriate for container size and type. Nonrefillable containers. Do not reuse or refill this container. Clean container promptly after emptying. Nonrefillable container equal to or less than 5 gallons. Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank and drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Fill the container ¼ full with water and recap. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal. Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat this procedure two more times. Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by incineration, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke. Nonrefillable container greater than 5 gallons. Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank. Fill the container ¼ full with water. Replace and tighten closures. Tip container on its side and roll it back and forth, ensuring at least one complete revolution, for 30 seconds. Stand the container on its end and tip it back and forth several times. Turn the container over onto its other end and tip it back and forth several times. Empty the rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal. Repeat this procedure two more times. Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by incineration, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke. Refillable container. Refill this container with pesticide only. Do not reuse this container for any other purpose. Cleaning the container before final disposal is the responsibility of the person disposing of the container. Cleaning before refilling is the responsibility of the refiller. To clean the container before final disposal, empty the remaining contents from this container into application equipment or mix tank. Fill the container about 10 percent full with water. Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by incineration, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke. RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS Nitro Shield contains a Group 4 Insecticide. Insect/mite biotypes with acquired resistance to Group 4 insecticides/acaricides may eventually dominate the insect/mite population if Group 4 insectides/acaricides are used repeatedly in the same site or in successive years as the primary method of control for targeted species. This may result in partial or total loss of control of those species by Nitro Shield or other Group 4 insecticides/acaricides. To delay insecticide resistance consider: x Avoiding the consecutive use of Nitro Shield or Group 4 insecticides that have a similar 3
target site of action, on the same insect/mite species. x Using tank-mixtures or premixes with insecticides/acaricides from different target site of action Groups as long as the involved products are all registered for the same use and have different sites of action, x Basing insecticide/acaricide use on a comprehensive IPM program. x Monitoring treated insect/mite populations for loss of efficacy. x Contacting your local extension specialist, certified crop advisors, and/or Winfield Solutions, LLC representative for herbicide resistance management and/or integrated pest management recommendations for specific site and resistant pest problems. . STORED SEED PROTECTION To protect stored seed of crops listed on this label apply a minimum 0.8 fluid ounces of NITRO SHIELD™ per 100 pounds of seed. Pest controlled by this application include Indian Meal Moth ( Plodia interpunctella), Rice Weevil ( Sitophilus oryzea ), Red Flour Beetle ( Tribiolium castaneum ), and Lesser Grain Borer ( Rhizopertha dominica ). If seed being treated is known to have existing pest infestation fumigation may be necessary prior to bagging.
