The label referred to above, submitted in connection with registration under FIFRA, as amended, is acceptable.

Do not apply when weather conditions favor drift from the area treated. Do not apply where runoff is likely to occur. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash waters. Apply this product only as specified on this label.
NON-TARGET ORGANISM ADVISORY STATEMENT: This product is toxic to plants and may adversely impact the forage and habitat of non-target organisms, including pollinators, in areas adjacent to the treated site. Protect the forage and habitat of non-target organisms by following label directions intended to minimize spray drift.
Physical/Chemical Hazards Do not use or store near heat or open flame.
PRIOR TO APPLICATION Off-site movement of spray drift or vapors of command 1.5 herbicide can cause foliar whitening or yellowing of some plants. Prior to making applications, read and strictly follow all restrictions, precautions and application instructions on this label.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system.
This product is for use only in a monitored commercial program conducted under FMC supervision.
Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.
AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR part 170. This Standard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural work ers on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructions and exceptions pertaining to the statements on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE), and restricted-entry interval. The requirements in this box only apply to uses of this product that are covered by the Worker Prote ction Standard.
Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the restricted entry interval (REI) of 12 hours.
Exception: if the product is soil-injected or soil-incorporated, the Worker Protection Standard under certain circumstances, al lows workers to enter the treated area if there will be no contact with anything that has been treated.
PPE required for early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the Worker Protection Standard and that involves contact with anything that has been treated, such as plants, soil or water, is: Coveralls; Chemical-resistant gloves, made of Barrier Lamina te or Viton; Shoes plus socks.
WEED RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT Command 1.5ME, which contains the active ingredient clomazone, is a group 13 herbicide based on the mode of action classification system of the Weed Science Society of America.
Proactively implementing diversified weed control strategies to minimize selection for weed populations resistant to one or mor e herbicides is a best practice. A diversified weed management program may include the use of multiple herbicides with different sites of action and overlapping weed spectrum with or without tillage operations and/or other cultural practices. Research has demonstrated that using the labeled rate and directions for use is important to delay the selection for resistance.
The continued effectiveness of this product depends on the successful implementation of a weed resistance management program.
To aid in the prevention of developing weeds resistant to this product, users should: • Scout fields before application to ensure herbicides and rates will be appropriate for the weed species and weed sizes present. • Start with a clean field, using either a burndown herbicide application or tillage. • Control weeds early when they are relatively small (less than 4 inches) with a burndown herbicide. • To minimize resistance, apply full labeled rates of Command 1.5ME. • Scout fields after application to detect weed escapes or shifts in control of weed species. • Control weed escapes before they reproduce by seed or proliferate vegetatively. • Report any incidence of non-performance of this product agains t a particular weed to your FMC representative, local retailer, or county extension agent. • Contact your FMC representative, crop advisor, or extension agent to find out if suspected resistant weeds to this MOA have been found in your region. If resistant biotypes of target weeds have been reported, use the application rates of this product specified for your local conditions. Tank mix products so that there are multiple effective sites of actions for each target weed. • If resistance is suspected, treat weed escapes with an herbicide having a site of action other than Group 13 and/or use nonchemical methods to remove escapes, as practical, with the goal of preventing further seed production.
WĂŐĞϯŽĨϭϱ • Suspected herbicide-resistant weeds may be identified by these indicators:
- Failure to control a weed species normally controlled by the her bicide at the dose applied, especially if control is achieved on adjacent weeds;
- A spreading patch of non-controlled plants of a particular weed species; and
- Surviving plants mixed with controlled individuals of the same species.
Additionally, users should follow as many of the following herbicide resistance management practices as is practical: • Use a broad-spectrum soil-applied herbicide with other sites of action as a foundation in a weed control program. • Utilize sequential applications of herbicides with alternative sites of action. • Rotate the use of this product with non-Group 13 herbicides. • Avoid making more than two applications of Command 1.5ME and any other Group 13 herbicides within a single growing season unless mixed with an herbicide with a different site of action with an overlapping spectrum for the difficult-to-control weeds. • Incorporate non-chemical weed control practices, such as mech anical cultivation, crop rotation, cover crops and weed-free cro p seeds, as part of an integrated weed control program. • Use good agronomic principles that enhance crop development and crop competitiveness. • Thoroughly clean plant residues from equipment before leaving fields suspected to contain resistant weeds. • Manage weeds in and around fields, during and after harvest to reduce weed seed production.
PRECAUTIONS FALIURE TO OBSERVE THE GENERAL APPLICATION PRECAUTION SECTION OF THIS LABEL MAY RESULT IN INJURY TO SENSITIVE PLANTS
x Some species of trees, shrubs, flowers, agronomic crops, and fruits and vegetables are sensitive to Command 1.5 ME herbicide. x Foliar contact with spray drift or vapors may cause whitening of sensitive plants. Symptoms are generally temporary in nature but may persist on some plants. x Plants such as the following may show symptoms of foliar whitening or yellowing if contacted by Command 1.5ME herbicide.

SPRAYER CLEANUP Do not drain or flush equipment on or near des irable trees or other plants, or in areas where their roots may extend or in loca tions where the chemical may be washed or move into contact with thei r roots. Do not contaminate any body of water including irrigation water that may be used on other crops. Carefully follow sprayer clean-up instructions noted below to prevent spray tank residues from damaging other crops.
Sprayer equipment needs to be thoroughly rinsed to remove residues of herbicide that might injure other subsequently sprayed crops. The steps below need to be followed for the thorough rinsing of spray equipment following applications of Command 1.5ME herbicide or tank mixes of Command 1.5ME with other labeled products.
- Drain any remaining spray solution from tank, pump, hoses and boom and discard in an approved manner (See Note that follows).
- Clean tank and fittings by: • Thoroughly hosing down the inside walls of the spray tank with a quantity of water equal to 1/8 of the total tank capacity and operating the pump to circulate this solution through the sprayer system for 15 minutes. • Washing down the outside surfaces of equipment.
WĂŐĞϰŽĨϭϱ • Removing nozzle tip and screen from end nozzle in each boom section and allowing several gallons of rinsate solution to flush completely through boom (collect rinsate while flushing). 3) Thoroughly drain remaining rinsate solution from tank, pump and hoses. Combine with boom flushing and dispose of all rinsates from this first rinsing in an approved manner (see Note that follows). • When switching from water dilutions to applications utilizing crop oil or liquid fertilizer as a carrier, a small volume of c rop oil or liquid fertilizer needs to be flushed through the tank, pump, hoses, and boom prior to the next use. Dispose of crop oil or liquid fertilizer rinsate in an approved manner (see Note for local, state and federal guidelines). 4) Remove the remaining nozzle tips, and screens and the line filter and wash in a pail of warm soapy water, thoroughly rinse and replace. 5) Hose down the inside walls of the spray tank a second time and circulate this solution using the same procedure as noted in #2 above. 6) If the next use of the sprayer will be for applying a preemergent or preplant incorporated pesticide on any crop for which Command 1.5ME is registered, rinsate from this second rinsing may be utilized by diluting with the water for the next pesticide load. HOWEVER If the next use of the sprayer will be a postemergence applied pest icide on any crop, drain rinsate solution from this second r insing. Retain rinsate solution for use only with a soil incorporated pesticide to be applied on a crop for which Command 1.5ME is registered. Refill tank (after draining second rinsate solution) in accordance with postemergence product label directions.
NOTE: Dispose of excess spray mixture and/or rinsate from first tank rinsing by application to cropland as described on this label. If excess spray mixture and/or rinsate from first rinsing cannot be disposed of according to label instructions, dispose of in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines. Contact your state pesticide or Environmental Control Agency or the Hazardous Waste representative at the nearest EPA regional office for guidance.
GENERAL MIXING INSTRUCTIONS Care must be taken when mixing Command 1.5ME herbicide. Avoid mixing in areas adjacent to desirable plants (See Section headed "IMPORTANT")
Command 1.5ME Alone: Mix Command 1.5ME with water or liquid fertil izer in the following manner: Fill the spray tank one-half to three fourths full with water or liquid fertilizer, add the proper amount of Command 1.5ME, then add the rest of the water or l iquid fertilizer. Provide sufficient agitation during mixing and application to maintain a uniform spray mixture.
Tank Mixtures: Fill spray tank one-fourth to one-third full with water; with agitator operating add the specified amount of ingredients using the following order: dry formulations (e.g., wettable powders, dry flowables) first, liquid suspensions (e.g., flowables) next and finally liquids (e.g., EC's). Mix thoroughly and fill tank one-half full continuing agitation. Add Command 1.5ME herbicide to tank while maintaining agitation. Complete filling the sprayer tank with water. Where use of a surfactant is specified, add as the last ingredient to the spray tank. Maintain agitation during filling, mixing and application. When using drift reducing agents, follow specific product label instructions for order of addition to spray tank. It is the pesticide user’s responsibility to ensure that all products are registered for the intended use. Read and follow the applicable restrictions and limitations and directions for use on all product labels involved in tank mixing. Users must follow the most restrictive directions for use and precautionary statements of each product in the tank mixture. If the instructions on the tank mix partner label conflict with this Command 1.5ME herbicide label, do not use in a tank mixture w ith Command 1.5ME herbicide.
Fertilizer Spray Mixtures: Applications of Command 1.5ME alone or with tank mixtures, in Conjunction with fertilizer solutions may beused unless use directions specifically state otherwise. Small quantities need to be tested for compatibility by the following procedure before mixing tankful quantities.
- Put 1 pint of fertilizer solution in a quart jar.
- Add the appropriate amount of herbicide based on the table at the top of page 3. If more than one product is to be used, add each separately using the following sequence: dry formulations (e.g., wettable powders, dry flowables) first, liquid suspensions (e g., flowables) next and finally liquids (e.g., EC's).

For lower or higher spray volumes, adjust fluid fertilizer quantity accordingly. 3) Close jar and shake well. 4) Watch mixture for several seconds, again in 5 minutes and again after 30 minutes. If herbicide/fertilizer combination remains mixed or can be remixed readily (i.e., does not permanently separate, foam, gel or become lumpy), the mixture is compatible and can be mixed in full volumes and sprayed. If the mixture is compatible, prepare spray by adding fertilizer solution to the tank first, then follow directions noted below:
- Command 1.5ME Alone: Dilute with 2 parts of water and add slowly to spray tank of fertilizer with agitator running. Maintain agitation during application.
WĂŐĞϱŽĨϭϱ 2) Command 1.5ME plus Tank Mixtures: Dilute individual products with two (2) parts of water, then add to the spray tank of fertilizer, while maintaining agitation, using the following order-slurry of dry formulations (wettable powders, dry flowables) first, dilu ted liquid formulations {EC's, flowables) second. Continue agitation during application.
RESTRICTIONS Do not apply aerially or through irrigation equipment.
For Preemergent Applications: Command 1.5ME must be used as a preemergent soil applied treatment without incorporation. Application restrictions must be taken as follows: Do not apply Command 1.5ME herbicide to non-field areas including fence rows, waterways, ditches, and roadsides. Do not apply within 300 feet of downwind crops and other desirable non-target plants. Do not apply within 1,200 feet of Towns and Housing Develo pments, Commercial Fruit, Nut, or Vegetable Production¹, Commercial Greenhouses or Nurseries. ¹ Except for vegetable crops registered for use on the Command 1.5ME label.
Refer to individual crop use directions for additional requirements.
DEdKZz^WZzZ/&dDE'DEd͗ Ground Boom Applications: • User must only apply with the nozzle height recommended by t he manufacturer, but no more than 4 feet above the ground or crop canopy. • Applicators are required to use a Coarse or coarser droplet size in accordance with the most current version of the American Society of Agricultural & Biological Engineers Standard 572 (ASAE S572). • Do not apply when wind speeds exceed 15 miles per hour at the application site. • Do not apply during temperature inversions.
SPRAY DRIFT ADVISORIES THE APPLICATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR AVOIDING OFF-SITE SPRAY DRIFT. BE AWARE OF NEARBY NON-TARGET SITES AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS.
IMPORTANCE OF DROPLET SIZE An effective way to reduce spray drift is to apply large droplets. Use the largest droplets that provide target pest control. While applying larger droplets will reduce spray drift, the potential for drift will be greater if applications are made improperly or under u nfavorable environmental conditions.
CONTROLLING DROPLET SIZE – GROUND BOOM • Volume - Increasing the spray volume so that larger droplets are produced will reduce spray drift. Use the highest practical spray volume for the application. If a greater spray volume is needed, consider using a nozzle with a higher flow rate. • Pressure - Use the lowest spray pressure recommended for the nozzle to produce the target spray volume and droplet size. • Spray Nozzle - Use a spray nozzle that is designed for the intended application. Consider using nozzles designed to reduce drift.
BOOM HEIGHT – GROUND BOOM Use the lowest boom height that is compatible with the spray nozzles that will provide uniform coverage. For ground equipment, the boom should remain level with the crop and have minimal bounce.
SHIELDED SPRAYERS Shielding the boom or individual nozzles can reduce spray drift. Consider using shielded sprayers. Verify that the shields are not interfering with the uniform deposition of the spray on the target area.
TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY When making applications in hot and dry conditions, use larger droplets to reduce effects of evaporation.
TEMPERATURE INVERSIONS Drift potential is high during a temperature inversion. Temperatur e inversions are characterized by increasing temperature with altitude and are common on nights with limited cloud cover and light to no wind. The presence of an inversion can be indicated by ground fog or by the movement of smoke from a ground source or an aircraft smoke generator. Smoke that layers and moves laterally in a concentrated cloud (under low wind conditions) indicates an inversion, while smoke that moves upward and rapidly dissipates indicates good vertical air mixing. Avoid applications during temperature inversions.
WIND Drift potential generally increases with wind speed. AVOID APPLICATIONS DURING GUSTY WIND CONDITIONS. Applicators need to be familiar with local wind patterns and terrain that could affect spray drift.
RESTRICTIONS Non-target spray drift of Command 1.5ME herbicide must be avoided to prevent whitening of desirable plants. Drift is influenced by many factors which include wind speed, spray pressure, particle size, nozzle type, and boom height. The use of an
WĂŐĞϲŽĨϭϱ agriculturally approved drift reducing additive is advised. Follow specific product label instructions for the order of addition of all products to the spray tank. Small quantities need to be tested for compatibility before mixing tankful quantities. x A minimum spray volume of 10 gallons per acre is require d with appropriate nozzle types and sizes that produce coarser sprays. x Do not exceed 30 psi spray pressure. x When moving spray equipment to noncontiguous sites, do not allow spray solution to spray or drip from tanks, hoses, fittings or spray nozzles and tips.
Suggested Nozzle Types, Minimum Size and Pressure Ranges for Minimizing Drift (See Special Precautions in the cotton use section for further restrictions) x Selection and proper use of spray equipment is critical in mini mizing spray drift. The following table suggests pressures, flow rates, and nozzle sizes for drift reduction using various nozzle types. ROTATIONAL CROPPING PRECAUTIONS Under some conditions, temporary whitening or yellowing of leaves may occur on approved rotational crops where undesirable soil residues of Command 1.5ME exist.
Under abnormal conditions, carryover injury to rotational crops can occur. The following factors can contribute to increased risk of injury to rotational crops:
- Exceeding label required rates.
- Overapplication resulting from use of worn nozzles, excessiv e overlapping of spray swaths, failing to shut off spray booms when turning (end row areas), or slowing or stopping sprayer.

GENERAL APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Ground Applications Broadcast or Banded Applications: Apply Command 1.5ME alone or in tank mix combinations by ground equipment using a finished spray volume of 10 to 40 gallons of water per acre. NOTE: The use of an agriculturally approved drift reducing additive is advised. Use nozzles suitable for broadcast boom or banded application of herbicides. Coarse sprays are less likely to drift out of the target area than fine sprays. For Command 1.5ME tank mixtures with wettable powder or dry flowable formulations, nozzle screens and strainers need to be no finer than 50-mesh. It is the pesticide user’s responsibility to ensure that all products are registered for the intended use. Read and follow the applicable restrictions and limitations and directions for use on all product labels invo lved in tank mixing. Users must follow the most restrictive directions for use and precautionary statements of each product in the tank mixture.
Banded Applications-Calculate the rates and volumes required by using the following formulas:

WĂŐĞϳŽĨϭϱ Cultivation After Planting Soil treated with Command 1.5ME may be shallow-cultivated, rotary hoed or hand-hoed without reducing the weed control activity of Command 1.5ME. Avoid deep cultivation which may bring untreated soil to the surface and result in poor weed control.
COMMERCIAL IMPREGNATION AND APPLICAT ION OF COMMAND 1.5ME ON DRY BULK FERTILIZERS Command herbicide may be impregnated on dry bulk fertilizers. When applied as directed Command/dry bulk fertilizer mixtures provide weed control equal to that provided by the same rates of Command applied in water.
Impregnation: Apply using a minimum of 200 pounds of dry bulk fertilizer per acre and up to a maximum of 450 pounds per acre with the specified amount of Command 1.5ME herbicide per acre. Use a closed rotary-drum mixer or a similar type of closed blender equipped with suitable spray equipment. The spray nozzle(s) needs to be positioned to provide a uniform, fine spray pattern over the tumbling fertilizer for thorough coverage. The physical properties of fertilizers vary, particularly in liquid absorptive capac ity. When absorptivity is sufficient, simple spray impregnation of the fertilizer with Command provides a satisfactory, dry mixture. If the absorptive capacity is inadequate use of a highly absorptive powder is required to provide a dry, flowable mixture. Microcel E (Johns-Manv ill Products Corporation) is a suggested absorbent powder. General ly, less than 2% by weight of Microcel E is required. DO NOT impregnate Command 1.5ME onto straight coated ammonium nitrate or st raight limestone because these materials will not absorb the herbicide. Dry fertilizer blends containing mixtures of ammonium nitrate or limestone may be impregnated with Command.
The amount of Command actually required in the preparation of individual fertilizer mixtures needs to be determined carefully for each production operation. This is necessary to ensure that the amount of pesticide actually contained in the mixture applied to the soil represents the correct rate of use. Bulk fertilizer impregnated with Command 1.5ME herbicide needs to be applied immediately, n ot stored. All state regulations, labeling, etc., of the mixtures are the responsibility of the seller. For those rates not listed in the following table, calculate the amount of Command to be impregnated on a ton of dry bulk ferti lizer using the following formula:

PRECAUTIONS FOR DRY BULK FERTILIZER IMPR EGNATION AND APPLICATION WITH COMMAND 1.5ME
• All equipment used to apply Command 1.5 ME must be thoroughly cleaned immediately following use to ensure no contamination results which could cause inju ry to non-labeled crops or desirable vegetation. Refer to "Sprayer Cleanup" section for additional details and disposal of rinsates. • Equipment used to physically transport Command 1.5 ME treat ed fertilizer, including boots, augers, conveyers, bins, etc. must be covered to prevent loss of fine particles and subjected to cleanup procedures previously described. • Mixing of Command herbicide and dry fertilizer must be conduct ed in a blender which will ensure that airborne particles and potential for volatilization are avoided. • Bulk containers must be tightly covered while the product is being transported and applied to reduce chances of Command volatilization or product loss.
Restriction: Dry Bulk Fertilizer impregnation operations using Command 1.5ME must not be conducted within ¼ mile of residential areas or areas where Command 1.5ME symptomology on desirable vegetation would not be tolerated.

Completion of proper qualification training required for sale, purchase, and use. Do not apply aerially or through irrigation equipment. Applicators must observe all buffer restrictions.
The use of an agriculturally approved drift reducing additive is advised. Follow specific product label instructions for the order of addition of all products to the spray tank. Small quantities need to be testes for compatibility before mixing tankful quantities. Do not exceed 30 psi spray pressure.
Do not apply with nozzles other than flood, whirl chamber, or Raindrop® or similar tips that produce coarse sprays. Refer to n ozzle table under SPRAY DRIFT PRECAUTIONS.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PLANTING TIME APPLICATIONS DO NOT apply Command 1.5ME Herbicide to cotton unless either disulfoton or phorate organophosphate insecticide is applied in- furrow with the seed at planting time at a minimum of 0.75 pound per acre of active ingredient. Do not reduce the application rate of the organophosphate insecticide when Command 1.5ME herbicide is applied as a banded treatment. Failure to apply either disulfoton or phorate insecticides with Command in accordance with in-furrow label use directions can result in crop phytotoxicity (bleach ing) and/or stand reduction. Combinations of at planting systemic granular carbamate and organophosphate insecticides in conjunction with Command may result in injury to cotton. Crop injury may occur with higher Command rates on sandy soils. Diuron must not be used at planting when Command is used as p lant injury may result. Refer to the inse cticide product labels for appropriate in-fu rrow application directions and maximum use rates. Monitor applicat ion equipment to ensure accurate and uniform placement of the insecticide.
PREEMERGENT BANDED APPLICATIONS For preemergent banded treatments, refer to the directions for banded applications in the GENERAL APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS section.

Read and follow the applicable restrictions and limitations and directions for use on all product labels involved in tank mixing. Users must follow the most restrictive directions for use and precautionary statements of each product in the tank mixture. If the instructions on the tank mix partner label conflict with this Command 1.5ME herbicide label, do not use in a tank mixture with Command 1.5ME herbicide.
WĂŐĞϭϰŽĨϭϱ CONDITIONS OF SALE AND LIMITATION OF WARRANTY AND LIABILITY Notice: Read the entire Directions for Use and Conditions of Sale and Limitation of Warranty and Liability before buying or using this product. If the terms are not acceptable, return the product at once, unopened, and the purchase price will be refunded. The Directions for Use of this product must be followed carefully. It is impossible to eliminate all risks inherently associate d with the use of this product. Crop injury, ineffectiveness, or other unintended consequences may result because of such factors as man ner of use or application, weather or crop conditions beyond the control or FMC or Seller. To the extent consistent with applicable law, all such risks shall be assumed by Buyer and User, and, to the extent consistent with applicable law, Buyer and User agree to hold FMC and Seller harmless for any claims relating to such factors. Seller warrants that this product conforms to the chemical de scription on the label and is reasonably fit for the purposes stated on the Directions for Use when used in accordance with the directions unde r normal conditions of use. TO THE EXTENT CONSISTENT WITH APPLICABLE LAW, FMC MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NOR ANY OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SELECTION, PURCHASE, OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT. Any warranties, express or implied, having been made are inapplicable if this product has been used contrary to label instructions, or under abnormal conditions, or under conditions not reasonably foreseeable to (or beyond the control of) seller or FMC, and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, buyer assumes the risk of any such use. To the extent consistent with applicable law, FMC or seller s hall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or special da mages resulting from the use or handling of this product. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal. Pesticide Storage STORE ABOVE -4ºF TO KEEP PRODUCT FROM FREEZING. If frozen, thaw before use. Observe recirculation directions under Mixing and Handling Instructions for Bulk/Mini-Bulk Containers. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Store in original containers only. Store in a dry place. Carefully open containers. After partial use, replace lids and close tightly. Do not put concentrate or dilute material into food or drink containers. In case of spill, avoid contact, isolate area and keep out animals and unprotected persons. Confine spills. Call CHEMTREC (Transportation and spills): (800) 424-9300 To confine spill: Dike surrounding area or absorb with sand, cat litter or commercial clay. Place damaged package in a holding container. Identify contents. Pesticide Disposal Pesticide wastes are toxic. Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mixture, or rinsate is a violation of Federal law. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency or the Hazardous Waste representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance. Container Handling Plastic Non-refillable Containers: Do not reuse or refill this container. Trip le rinse container (or equivalent) promptly after emptying. Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining content s into application equipment or a mix tank and continue to drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Fill the container ¼ full with water and recap. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour rin sate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for la ter use or disposal. Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begin s to drip. Repeat this procedure two more times. Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanit ary landfill or by incineration, or, if allowed by State and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke. Returnable/Refillable Sealed Containers: Refill this container with pesticide only. Do not reuse this container for any other purpose. Do not rinse container. Do not empty remaining formulated product. Do not break seals. Return intact to point of purchase. Cleaning the container before f inal disposal is the responsibility of the person disposing of the container. Cleani ng before refilling is the responsibility of the refiller. To clean the container before final disposal, empty the remaining contents from this container into application equipment or mix tank. Fill the c ontainer about 10 percent full with water. Agitate vigorously or recirculate water with the pump for 2 minutes. Pour or pump rinsate into application equipment or rinsate collection system. Repeat rinsing procedure two more times. Mini-Bulk Containers: These containers are property of FMC Corporation and are returnable to FMC at FMC’s discretion. These containers are provided for repackaging of Command 1.5ME* and must not be filled with any other product. Bulk Drums: Command 1.5ME Bulk drums are returnable to FMC Corporation for reuse when the container is completely empty. Bulk drums containing product in excess of 1 gallon cannot be accepted for return. Container Precautions Before refilling, inspect thoroughly for damage such as cracks, punctures, bulges, dents, abrasions, and damaged or worn threads on closure devices. After filling and before transporting, check for leaks. Container Restrictions Do not refill or transport a damaged or leaking container. *Any dealer wishing to repackage Command 1.5ME must comply with all Federal, State and local laws pertaining to bulk herbicide handling and possess a signed repackaging agreement from FMC Corporation.
