Chemigalion systems connecled to public water systems must con­ tain a lunctional, reduced-pressure zone, backflow preventer (RPZ) or the functional equivalent in the water supply line upstream from the point of peslicida introduction. As an option 10 the RPZ, the waler from the pmlic water system should be discharged into a reservoir tank prior to pesticide introduction. This table also indicates the mini· mum amount of water that can be used for the various methods of application. The rate of this product for aerial spray or concentrated spray applied by ground equipment is based on a dilute full cover spray applied to fruit or nut tress with conventional ground equipment at a rate of 3QO-400 gal­ lons of water per acre. The specific amount of product to be used appears under the separate direclions for use for each crop. (NoIe: "Ibs." or "'bs. of product" in Ihe directions means pounds of this prod­ uct. not pounds 01 active ingredient). If the "Rate" calls for t lb. of this product per 100 gallons of waler. this amounts to 3-4 Ibs. 01 product per acre when applied to fruit trees at usual dilute ground spray volumes of 300-400 gallons 01 waler per acre.
