AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR, part 170. This Standar_d contains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, __ forests nurseries, and greenhouses~ and handlers of agricultural pesticides, It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains spedfic:: instructions and exceptions pertaining to the statement on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE). The requirements in this box only apply to uses of thisprodUl::t that are.covted by the Worker Protection Standard. - - ---- - Do not enter or allow worker entl)' into treated areas during the restrited entry interval (REf) of 12 hours. Whre a dosage range is indicated, use the lower rate on small or young plants and the higher rate on large or mature plants. Always use sufficient dust to obtain good coverage of the crop plants being treated. Apply when insects or their damage apper and repeat applications as necessary, or at 7 to 10 day intervals, unless shorter intervals are specified in 'DIRECTIONS FOR USE." DIRECTIONS FOR USE Cotton: For early-season control of Thrips, Flea beetles, Cottn fleahoppr, Cotton leafworm, and Striped blister beetle, apply 10 to 20 pounds. For mid- and late-season control of Boll weevi/, Bollwom. F-a-fl armyW.orm, Cotton leaf perforator. Leaf rollers, Leafhoppers, and Tarni.shed plant bug, apply 20 to-40 pounds. and Stink bugs. .

beetles. Harlequin bug and Leafhoppers. To control Six spotted leafhoppers (aster yellows vector). apply 20 to 30 pounds in a 5

Where Cabbage looper is the principal problem, use an alternative pesticide that is specifically recommended. For control of

small Cabbage loopers after edible portions begin to form, USe in a 5 to 7 day schedule. Do not apply to these crops later than 3

days before harvest.

TobiliCCO: In plant beds (for Tobacco flea beetle), apply 1 to 2 pounds per 100 square yards when inse_cts appear. Avoid

exdssive application; plant injury may result. Repeat as needed at 10 to 14 day intervals and just before transplanting.

In fields {broadcast applications for Hornworms an_d Tobacco fleC!: be_etles), apply 1_5 to 2.5 poynds per acre depending on size of

the plants. Good _coverage IS essential. Use~the highest dosage only on large plants and repeat as needed. Heavier applications

may cause plant injury.

If late applications are necessary, allow 3 days before priming Of cutting.

FORAGE AND FIELD CROPS

Alfalfa. Clovers, Cowpeas, Peanuts and Soybeans: Use 10 to 20 pounds for Blister beetles and Mexican bean beetle~

Use 20- pounds for Alfalfa caterpillar, Bean leaf beet/e. Cucumber beetles. Green cl.ov_erworm, Japanese beetle, Leafhoppers.

Three·cornered alfalfa hopper, Thrips and Velvetbean caterpillar.

To avoid possible inlliry on tender fOriage~ do -not apply when foliage is wet or when rain or excessive- humidity is expected during

the next 2 days.

Forage Grasses snd- Pasture: Use 20 to 30 pounds for Armyworms and Thrips. For op-timum Thrips co-ntrol in grasses grown for seed, direct dust into boot. Rice (in the Mississippi Delta and Texas); Use 20 to 30 pounds for Armyworms and Stinkbugs. Warning! Do not apply before heading if propanit (such as "5tam" F-341 has been or will be applied; plant injury may result. Do not apply later than 15 ~ days before harvesting rice. Sorghums (including Milo and Grain Sorghum):- Use 20 to 40 pounds for Armyworm$, CQr'h_ Jarv.tbrm, _51;in1o;. bugs and WebwQrms. Use 30 pounds for SQrghum midge. For optimum insect cOhtrol on g(;;Ijll sOJghum, direct dust into the forming heads. Trea-tment fo.r Sorghum midge -control should b-'; made 3 to 4 days after heads. have emerged from boot. Do not apply later than 21 days before harvesting sorghums. GRASSHOPPERS: Apply 10 to 30 pounds as often.as necessary to control grasshoppers on the above crops. A 10 to 20 pound rate is suggested for nymphs on small plants or sparse vegetation in wasteland, rangeland, ditchbanks, and borders. A 20· to 30 pound dosage should be used when grasshoppers are mature or "material is applied to. crops reqirrng greater coverage. Do not apply more than 20 pounds· per acre to cucumbers, °melons, pumpkins, or squash. Follow the appropriate time limitations as given under the appropriate crop. POULTRY (On Chickens, Turkeys, Ducks, Geese, Game Birds and Pigeons Litter Treatment: Apply 1 pound per 40 sq. ft. to control Northern fowl mite, Chicken mite, lice, Fleas and Bed bugs. Use a scoop and scatter by hand, or apply by hand duster. Avoid contamination of nests, eggs, feeding and watering troughs. HAJlPlication to Birds: Use 1 pound to treat 100 birds by means of a shaker can, squeeze bottle, or hand duster to control Nori:liern fowl mite, Chicken mite" lice and Fleas. Direct dust to vent and fluff areas. Repeat in 4 weeks if necessary. Hand application to birds for Chicken mite and Fleas is a supplement to litter treatment for control of these pests. Dust-Bath-Boxes: Use 2~ pounds per box for each 50 birds to control Northern fowl mite. Chicken mite. Lice and Fleas. This is a supplement to litter treatment for Chicken mite and Aea control. Can ranges, two natural walfows may be substituted for each dust-bath-box. Do not apply within 7 days of slaughter. Poultry should not be housed in poultry houses within 7 days of slaughter.
