x Maximum usage when applying metalaxyl- and mefenoxam-co ntaining products, fluoxastrobin-containing products and prothioconazole-containing products to the same crop within the same season: DO NOT apply more than the maximum yearly total application rate for the active ingredient as stated on the label of the product containing the lowest yearly total on th at crop. x DO NOT apply more than 2.3 fl oz/cwt of Acceleron 26FO Fungicide Seed Treatment to soybeans. x DO NOT graze or feed livestock on soybean forage or hay. x DO NOT allow children, pets, or livestock to have access to treated seed. x DO NOT use treated seed for food, feed, or oil. x Not for Sale, Sale Into, Distribution and /or Use in Nassau and Suffolk Counties of New York State. x Refer to the specific use directions and restrictions in the crop table. x Store treated seed away from feeds and foodstuffs. x Plant treated seed into the soil at a minimum depth of 1/2 inch or greater to minimize exposure.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDATION For resistance management, please note that Acceleron 26FO Fungicide Seed Treatment contains Group 4, Group 3, and a Group 11 fungicide. Any fungal population may contain individuals naturally resistant to Acceleron 26FO Fungicide Seed Treatment and other Group 4, Group 3, or Group 11 fungicides. A gradual or total loss of pest control may occur over time if these fungicides are used repeatedly in the same fields. Appropriate resistance-management strategies must be followed. To delay fungicide resistance, take one or more of the following steps: x Rotate the use of Acceleron 26FO Fungicide Seed Treatment or other Group 4, Group 3, and 11 fungicides within a growing season sequence with different groups that control the same pathogens. x Use tank mixtures with fungicide from a different group that are equally effective on the target pest when such use is permitted. Use at least the minimum application rate as labeled by the manufacturer. x Adopt an integrated disease management program for fungicide use that includes scouting, uses historical information related to pesticide use, and crop rotation, and which considers host plant resistance, impact of environmental conditions on disease development, disease thresholds, as well as cultural, biological and other chemical control practices. x Where possible, make use of predictive disease models to effectively time fungicide applications. Note that using predictive models alone is not sufficient to manage resistance. x Monitor treated fungal populations for resistance development. x Contact your local extension specialist or certified crop advisor for any additional pesticide resistance-management and/or IP M guidance for specific crops and pathogens. x For information or to report suspected resistance contact Bayer CropScience LP at 1-866-99BAYER (1-866-992-2937). You can also contact your pesticide distributor or university extension specialist to report resistance.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS x Uniform application of seed is necessary to ensure seed safety and best disease protection. x Dilute with a sufficient amount of water to achieve uniform application to seed which is necessary to ensure seed safety and best disease control. x Apply using standard slurry or mi st-type seed treatment equipment. x Use high quality, properly cleaned seed.

ROTATIONAL CROPS* In the event of a crop failure or harvest of a crop grown from seed treated with Acceleron 26FO Fungicide Seed Treatment, the field maybe replanted immediately with any crops. *Cover crops for soil building or erosion control may be planted any time, but DO NOT graze or harvest for food or feed, unless a crop tolerance exists.

COMPATIBILITY TESTING AND TANK MIX PARTNERS May be used in combination with other registered Bayer CropScience fungicide seed treatments and insecticides. Pre-test for compatibility with other seed treatment products.

Compatibility It is essential that before using Acceleron 26FO Fungicide Seed Treatment in any tank mixture the compatibility of the mixture be established. Add Acceleron 26FO Fungicide Seed Treatment at the labeled rate to a clean quart jar containing approximately one-half the amount of water intended for a final slurry application rate. Next, follow with all other tank mix components that will be used in the total slurry application.

Add last the remaining balance of water. The total amount of volume is determined by the seed size and how much is necessary to ensure complete and uniform coverage and distribution on the seed, as well as the type of commercial seed treating application equipment that will be used.

DO NOT USE MIXTURES THAT CURDLE, PRECIPITATE, OR GEL. USE TANK MIXTURES IMMEDIATELY AFTER MIXING WITH

4

ADEQUATE AGITATION.

Mixing Instructions

  1. When applied with seed treatment application equipment design ed to treat seed utilizing a treatment slurry mixture, add approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of the required water to the treatment slurry tank followed by the accompanying seed treatment products and Acceleron 26FO Fungicide Seed Treatment.
  2. The order of product addition is dependent on the accompanying seed treatment products and application equipment used.
  3. Allow each slurry component to disperse completely prior to the next addition until a uniform suspension is obtained.
  4. After all slurry components have been added and dispersed completely add the remaining 1/2 to 1/3 of required water for proper slurry volume and mix until uniform. For containers over 15 gallons, mix the product with the built-in mixer for 5-10 minutes before each use.
  5. DO NOT store mixed slurries for greater than 72 hours. Always recirculate or mix thoroughly before using.
  6. Maintain adequate agitation until treatment slurry is applied. For additional instructions for mixing, use, slurry component mixing order, and other application suggestions contact your Bayer CropScience representative.

Follow more restrictive labeling of any tank mix partner. DO NOT tank mix with any product, which contains a prohibition on tank mixing. Acceleron 26FO Fungicide Seed Treatment may be applied as a water-based slurry with other registered seed treatment insecticides and fungicides through standard slurry or mist-type commercial seed treatment equipment. It is the pesticide users responsibility to ensure that all products are registered for the intended use. Read and follow the applicable restrictions and limitations and directions for use on all product labels involved in tank mixing. Users must follow the most r estrictive directions for use and precautionary statements of each product in the tank mixture. Excess treated seed may be used for ethano l production only if (1) by-products are not used for livestock feed and (2) no measurable residues of pesticide remain in ethano l byproducts that are used in agronomic practice.
