The Confidential statement of Formula (CSF) is difficult to interpret and indicates that the label claim may not be supported. The technical product contains 77\ methyl parathion with 3\ related compounds, you cannot split off how much of the related compounds you are adding to the mixture. The CSF shows that a total of 559.1 pounds of the technical product are being used (545.6 +.13.5), however; these do not support the label claim. If 545.6 pounds of the 77% technical are being' used ina mixture totaling 1000 pounds, the label claim should be 43.04,' Similarly, the label claim for the related compounds should be 1.68\ (13.5 pounds of a 3\ related compound product). You must correct the amount of technical methyl parathion being added to' this mixture so that the label claim is supported, and submit a new CSF, or adjust the label claim and submit new labels. The new CSF or new labels must be submitted within 30 days of the date of this notice. 5. Please note, although we have accepted this labeling, we have removed the "Product Bulletin" for the special Local Need in Texas (TX-910009). This SLN must be canceled. If handled indoors, provide mechanical exhaust ventilation. Keep al. unprotected persons,
children, livestock and pets away from treated area or where there Is danger of drift. Do not
rub eyes or mouth with hands. If you feel sick in any way. STOP work and gel help right

STATEMENT OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT
ATROPINE IS THE EMERGENCY ANTIDOTE FOR METHYL PARATHION POISONING.
Consult your phYllcian about obtaining an adequate supply of 1 grain atropine tablels (or
emergenoy ule. '2·Pam' Is allo an antidote for Methyl Parathion and may be admlnl.lered
In con)unctlon with Atropine.
IF SWALLOWED: Call a physician or Polson Control Center. Drink 1 or 2 glas.e. of waler
and Induce vomiting by touching back of throat with flnger, or, ff available, by administering
syrup of ipecac. Do not induce vomiting or give anything by mouth to an unconscious per·
son.
IF INHALED: Remove victim 10 fresh air. Apply artificial respiration ff Indicated. Get medical
allention.
IF IN EYES: Wash immediately with running water for at least 10 minutes.
IF ON SKIN: If the material has been spilled on the skin, Immedlalely remove patient from
. the vicinity of the Methyl Parathion and wash skin with soap and running water.
CALL A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY IN ALL CASES OF SUSPECTED POISONING.
ENYIRONMENTAL HAZARDS
This pesticide is highly toxic to aquatic invertebrates and wildlife. Birds in treated areas may
be killed. Do not apply directly to water; to areas where surface water is present or to inter~
tidal areas below the mean highater malic Runoff and drift from target areas may be
hazardous to aquatic organisms In adjacent aquatic sites. Shlimp or other aqueUc organ·
Isms may be killed at recommended application rates. Do not contaminate water by cleaning
of equipment or disposal of wastes.
This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment or residues on blooming
crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds if
bees are visiting the treatment area.

Applicators and other handlers must wear: A) Coveralls over '.ong-sleeved shirt and long
pants; B) Chemical-resistant groves such as Barrier laminate, Butyl Rubber, Nitrile Rubber or
Viton; C) Chemical-resistant footwear plus socks; D) Protective eyewear, E) Chemical-resis-
tant headgear for overhead exposure; F) Chemical-resistant apron when cleaning equip-
ment, mixing or loading; G) DusUmist filtering respirator (MSHNNIOSH approval prefix TC-
21C),
Discard clothing and other absorbent materials that have been drenched or heavily contami-
nated with this product's concentrate. Do not reuse them. Follow manufacturer's instructions
for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables, use detergent and hot
water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.
Engineering Controls Statements: When handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or
aircraft in a manner that meets the requirements listed In the WorKer Protection Standard
(WPS) for agricultural pesticides (40 CFR 170,240 (d) 4~), the handler PPE requirements

MBICULIUML use REQUIREMENTS
Use of this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the WorKer Protection Stan
dard, 40 CFR part 170. This Standard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural
workers on farms, forests, nurseries and greenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesti
cides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification and emergency
assistance. It also contains specific instructions and exceptions pertaining to the statements
on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE), notffication to wOrXers and restricted
entry Interval. The requirements in this box only apply to use, of this product that are cov
ered by the Worker Protection Standard.
Do not enter or allow worker entry Into treated areas durtng the restIicled-entry interval (REI)
of 48 hours.
PPE required for early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the Worker Protection
Standard and that involves contact with anything that has been treated ,uoh as plants, soil,
or water, is: A) Coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants; 8) Chemical-resistant
glove, such as Barrier Laminate, Butyl Rubber, Nitrile Rubber or Vlton; C) Chemioal-resis

Notify workers of the application by warning them orally and by posting signs at entrances to
