Status: missing · Importance: High · Effort: L · Phase: 1–2

No i18n lib, no message catalogs; all copy hardcoded in TSX. Gating prerequisite; cheapest to do now while the surface is small.

Non-negotiable: PRD §6 promises this "from day one" — docs-vs-code gap; edit the doc now.
