Image rebuild (skip scrape) / build (push) Failing after 1h37m12s
docker: production image + Gitea Actions for monthly refresh
Dockerfile: self-contained image with corpus + Chroma + BM25 baked
in. Drawbar's compose pulls + runs without volume mounts. Built from
sources.json (labels schema), PRODUCT_NAME=crop_chem by default,
HYBRID_SEARCH=true (always-on for production quality). RERANK_URL +
OLLAMA_URL get set at compose time.

.gitea/workflows/refresh.yml: monthly cron (1st @ 06:00 UTC) does
full scrape → reindex → image push. Scrapes Bayer (~30 min) +
EPA PPLS row-crop filtered (~7h). Skips reindex+push if no corpus
diff. Tags pushed: :latest, :<sha12>, :corpus-<YYYY.MM.DD>.

.gitea/workflows/image-only.yml: on-demand or auto on code-only
pushes to main (paths: docs_mcp/, rag/, scrape/, requirements.txt,
Dockerfile, sources.json). Reindexes from committed corpus, builds
image, pushes. ~10 min vs ~9h full refresh.

.gitignore: corpus/ now COMMITTED (4,159 labels, 265 MB of .md +
sidecars). Lets image-only.yml rebuild indexes without re-scraping.
chroma/ + bm25/ still gitignored (regenerable binary indexes).

.dockerignore: drops venv, eval results, PLAN/README/CLAUDE.md,
deploy/, .git/ — keeps the image lean. corpus + chroma + bm25
explicitly NOT in dockerignore (those go INTO the image).

Product Information
Poncho® Votivo® 2.0 seed treatment provides control
from early season insects, protection from nematodes,
plant growth promotion, and increased microbial activity in
the root zone. This can result in improved plant vigor, more
uniform plants, and greater yield potential. In areas of high
nematode infestation, additional control measures may be
needed.
Mode of Action
Clothianidin is a systemic insecticide which acts as a
nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonists (nAChR).
Bacillus firmus I-1582 is a biological seed treatment that
colonizes the developing root system providing early
season protection from plant pathogenic nematodes as
well as plant growth promotion.
Poncho  Votivo 2.0 contains Bacillus thuringiensis strain
EX297512, a biological soil amendment seed treatment
that enhances the microbial activity within the plant rhizo-
sphere resulting in better plant nutrient uptake and growth.
Resistance Management
Poncho  Votivo 2.0 contains both a Group 4A
(clothianidin) insecticide and a biological nematicide and
plant growth promoting active ingredient (Bacillus firmus
I-1582). Any insect population may contain individuals nat-
urally resistant to Poncho  Votivo 2.0 or other Group 4A
insecticides. These resistant individuals may dominate the
insect population if this group of insecticides is used
repeatedly in the same fields.
Although insecticide resistance cannot be predicted, a
general rule to reduce the onset of resistance is to not
consecutively and repeatedly apply Group 4A insecticides
during a growing season for control of particular insects.
Where possible, multiple pest control tools in addition to
chemical control should be used as part of an integrated
pest management (IPM) approach. BASF encourages
responsible product stewardship to ensure effective long-
term control of the insects on this label. Consult your state
or local agricultural authorities or your BASF representative
for more specific details on insect resistance management
strategies.
To delay insecticide resistance, take one or more of the
following steps:
• Rotate the use of Poncho  Votivo 2.0 or other
Group 4A insecticides within a growing season
sequence with different groups that control the same
pests.
• Use tank mixtures with insecticides from a different
group that are equally effective on the target pest when
such use is permitted. Use at least the minimum applica-
tion rate as labeled by the manufacturer.
• Adopt an integrated pest management (IPM) program for
insecticide use that includes scouting, uses historical
information related to pesticide use, crop rotation, record
keeping, and which considers cultural, biological and
other chemical control practices.
• Monitor after application for unexpected target pest sur-
vival. If the level of survival suggests the presence of
resistance, consult with your local university specialist or
certified pest control advisor.
• Contact your local extension specialist or certified crop
advisor for any additional pesticide resistance-
management and/or IPM guidance for the specific crops
and pest problems in your area.
• For further information or to report suspected resistance,
contact your BASF representative, local extension spe-
cialist, or certified crop advisor.
Application Instructions
• Use Poncho  Votivo 2.0 in commercial seed treatment
facilities with commercial or professional seed treatment
application equipment only.
• DO NOT apply with planting application equipment
(e.g. hopper box, planter box, slurry box, and on-farm
seed treaters, etc.).
• Use good quality, well-conditioned seed free of chaff.
• Thorough and uniform seed coverage is required for
optimum performance.
• Apply at specified rates with either seed treatment
equipment that has “direct inject” or dedicated pump
capabilities or in a water-based mixture using standard
slurry seed treatment application equipment. Consult a
seed treatment specialist about crop-specific slurry rates
and seed treatment calibration and operation
procedures.
5
• May be used in combination with other registered BASF
seed treatment fungicides and insecticides. Pretest for
compatibility with other seed treatment products.
• Treated seed must be labeled in accordance with the
requirements of the Federal Seed Act.
Use Restriction: When using formulations that do not
contain dye, to comply with 40 CFR 153.155, all seed
treated with a pesticide must be colored to distinguish and
prevent subsequent inadvertent use as a food for man or
feed for animals or for oil purposes.
The buyer of Poncho
® Votivo® 2.0 seed treatment is
responsible for ensuring all seed treated with this product
is adequately dyed with a suitable color to prevent acci-
dental use as food for man or feed for animals. Refer to
21CFR, Part 2.25.
Tank Mixing Other Products
It is the pesticide users responsibility to ensure that all
products are registered for the intended use. When using
Poncho  Votivo 2.0 in a tank mix ture with other seed
treatment products, read and follow all directions for use,
crops/sites, application restrictions, dilution ratios, precau-
tions, and limitations on the tank mix partner label.
DO NOT exceed label dosage or application rate. Users
must follow the most restrictive directions for use and pre-
cautionary statements of each product in the tank mixture.
DO NOT combine with any product that pro hibits mixing.
Compatibility Test for Tank Mix
Components
When tank mixing Poncho  Votivo 2.0, always test com-
patibility before use by performing a jar test as follows:
1. In a clean quart jar containing 1/2 the intended amount
of water for a final slurry application rate, add the labeled
rate of Poncho  Votivo 2.0.
2. Fol low with all intended tank mix components.
3. Add remaining balance of water. Total slurry volume
depends on seed size and complete, uniform coverage
of the seed, as well as the commercial seed treating
application equipment used.
4. Mix well and allow to sit for one hour.
5. Evaluate - DO NOT use mixtures that curdle, precipi-
tate, or gel.
Use tank mixtures immediately after constant mixing with
agitation.
Mixing Order
• If applied as part of a seed treatment slurry, add approxi-
mately 1/2 to 2/3 of required water to the treatment slurry
tank followed by the accompanying seed treatment
products and Poncho  Votivo 2.0.
• The order of product addition depends on the accompa-
nying seed treatment products and application
equipment used.
• Allow each slurry component to disperse completely
before the next addition until a uniform suspension is
obtained.
• After all slurry components have been added and dis-
persed completely, add the remaining 1/2 to 1/3 of
required water for proper slurry volume and mix until
uniform.
• DO NOT store mixed slurries for more than 72 hours.
• Maintain agitation until treatment slurry is applied.
• For additional use instructions, slurry component mixing
order, and other application suggestions, contact your
BASF representative.
• Follow the most restrictive labeling restrictions and pre-
cautions of all products used in mixtures.
6
Specific Crop Directions

• For use only in commercial seed treatment facilities.
• Not for use in hopper box, planter box, slurry box, or other on-farm seed treatment application.
• Apply with seed treatment equipment that has “direct inject” or dedicated pump capabilities or standard slurry-type
seed treatment equipment.
• Use planting equipment that will plant treated seed into the soil to a minimum depth of 0.5 inches or greater to mini-
mize exposure.
• May be used in combination with other registered BASF seed treatment fungicides and insecticides. Pretest for com-
patibility with other seed treatment products.
• Follow-up foliar sprays of a registered insecticide may be needed under heavy pest pressure. Consult your local
Extension office for recommendations.
• All seed treated with this product must be colored with an EPA-approved dye or colorant that imparts an unnatural
color to the seed to help prevent the inadvertent use of treated seed for food, feed, or oil purposes.
• Treated seed must be labeled in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Seed Act.
• For all listed crops except soybean, Poncho® Votivo® 2.0 seed treatment is not recommended to be followed by
a spray treatment of another neonicotinoid (Group 4A) insec ticide. Follow approved guidelines established for insect
resistance management by consulting your local extension pest management expert.

SEED BAG TAG REQUIREMENTS
The Federal Seed Act requires that the container of seed
treated with Poncho® Votivo® 2.0 seed treatment
must be labeled with the following statements:
• This seed has been treated with Poncho® Votivo® 2.0
seed treatment (EPA Reg. No. 7969-XXX), which con-
tains 36.3% clothianidin and 7.2% Bacillus firmus
I-1582.
• DO NOT use treated seed for food, feed, or oil
production.
In addition, the US Environmental Protection Agency
requires the following statements on the container of
seed treated with Poncho
® Votivo® 2.0 seed
treatment:
• Store treated seeds away from food and feedstuffs.
• DO NOT allow children, pets, or livestock to have
access to treated seed.
• Wear long-sleeve shirt, long pants, shoes and socks,
and chemical-resistant gloves made out of: barrier lami-
nate, butyl rubber ≥ 14 mils, nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils,
neoprene rubber ≥ 14 mils, polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
≥ 14 mils, or viton ≥ 14 mils when handling treated seed.
• Excess treated seed may be used for ethanol production
only if (1) by-products are not used for livestock feed and
(2) no measurable residues of pesticide remain in ethanol
by-products that are used in agronomic practice.
• Dispose of all excess treated seed. Leftover treated seed
may be double sown around the headland or buried away
from water sources in accordance with local requirements.
• Dispose of seed packaging or containers in accor-
dance with local requirements.
• DO NOT use empty seed bags for any other purpose.
• To reduce seed dust which can drift onto blooming crops
or weeds, ensure that planting equipment is functioning
properly in accordance with manufacturers recommen-
dations. Surplus seed or empty seed containers must be
stored or disposed according to local federal regulations.
• Use planting equipment that will plant treated seed into
the soil to a minimum depth of 0.5 inches or greater to
minimize exposure.
• DO NOT broadcast plant seeds.
• DO NOT contaminate water bodies when disposing of
planting equipment washwater.
• This compound may be highly toxic to bees exposed
directly (contact). Ensure that planting equipment is
functioning properly in accordance with manufacturing
recommendations to minimize seed coat abrasion
during planting to reduce dust, which can drift to
blooming crops or weeds.
• This compound is toxic to birds and mammals. Treated
seeds exposed on soil surface may be hazardous to
birds and mammals. Promptly cover or collect treated
seeds spilled during loading.
• DO NOT use Poncho
® Votivo® 2.0 seed treatment
treated seed in areas where rice/crawfish aquaculture
practices are in place or in or near fish farms, shrimp,
prawn or crab ponds or nursery operations.

- 0.2 lb for soybean
- 0.14 lb for sugar beet
- 0.1 lb for corn
- 0.02 lb for sorghum
• Cereal grains (except corn, rice, sorghum, wild rice)
- Treated at the rate of mg ai/seed
• Corn (field corn, sweet corn, popcorn)
- Treated at the rate of mg ai/seed
• Cotton, delinted only - Treated at the rate of 0.424 mg
ai/seed
