Image rebuild (skip scrape) / build (push) Failing after 1h37m12s
Dockerfile: self-contained image with corpus + Chroma + BM25 baked in. Drawbar's compose pulls + runs without volume mounts. Built from sources.json (labels schema), PRODUCT_NAME=crop_chem by default, HYBRID_SEARCH=true (always-on for production quality). RERANK_URL + OLLAMA_URL get set at compose time. .gitea/workflows/refresh.yml: monthly cron (1st @ 06:00 UTC) does full scrape → reindex → image push. Scrapes Bayer (~30 min) + EPA PPLS row-crop filtered (~7h). Skips reindex+push if no corpus diff. Tags pushed: :latest, :<sha12>, :corpus-<YYYY.MM.DD>. .gitea/workflows/image-only.yml: on-demand or auto on code-only pushes to main (paths: docs_mcp/, rag/, scrape/, requirements.txt, Dockerfile, sources.json). Reindexes from committed corpus, builds image, pushes. ~10 min vs ~9h full refresh. .gitignore: corpus/ now COMMITTED (4,159 labels, 265 MB of .md + sidecars). Lets image-only.yml rebuild indexes without re-scraping. chroma/ + bm25/ still gitignored (regenerable binary indexes). .dockerignore: drops venv, eval results, PLAN/README/CLAUDE.md, deploy/, .git/ — keeps the image lean. corpus + chroma + bm25 explicitly NOT in dockerignore (those go INTO the image). Perennial VVeeds:
Purple Nutgrass (Nutsedge) (Cypreus rolundus)
Yellow Nutgrass (Nutsedge) (Cypreus esculenthus)
Existing stands of nutgrass must be tumed under and chopped up thoroughly before

treatment. For nutgrass control VERNAM 1Q-G must be thoroughly mixed into the soil prior to
planting. Cultivation is suggested in addl!ion to VERNAM 10-(3 treatment in fields with
moderate or heavy nutgrass infestations.
GENERAL USE PRECAUTIONS
VERNAM 10-G should be used only for recommended purposes and at recommended rates
(do not overdose). Applied according to directions and under normal growin~ conditions,
VERN AM 10-(3 win not harm the treated crop. Malformation of the primary leaves is not
unusual. This condition is only temporary and will not affect yields. During germination and
early stages of growth, extended periods of unusually cold and wet or hot and dry weather,
insect or plant disease attack, the use of certain soil-applied sy&1emic insecticides, improperly
placed fertilizers or soil insecticides may create abnormal conditions that weaken crop
se~ings. VERNAM 1Q-G used under these abnormal conditions could result in crop injury.
VERNAM 1Q-G is recommended for use on mineral solis only.
Do not mix VERNAM 10-(3 with insecticides or fungicides.
Do not contaminate irrigation water or wa~er used for domestic purposes.

APPUCATION DIRECTIONS
The soil should be well worked and dry enough to pennit good soil mixing (incorporation).
Use granular applicators designed to handle herbicide granules. Calibrate the applicator
according to the manufacturer's directions prior to use and check frequently during application
to be sure equipment is working properly and distributing the granules uniformly.
Avoid overlaps that will increase dosage above recommenljed limits. When using certain
broadcast applicators, a splash pan is needed to spread the granules and avoid concentration
of the material In narrow bands. Broadcast applications before planting may be made by
airplane.

INCORPORATION DIRECTIONS
With soil incorporation applications. VERNAM 1o-G must be mixed (incorporated) into the soil
Immediately (within minutes) after application to prevent loss of herbicide. Whenever possible.
appIIcaIIon and incorporatioo should be done In the same operdon.
Soil Mixing (Incorporation) Before Planting: Use power-driven cultivation equipment set to cut
to a depth of 2 to 3 inches OR a tandem disc set to cut to a depth of 4 to 6 Inches operated
at 4 to 6 mph. followed by a spike-tooth harrow or some other leveling device which extends
beyond the ends of the cisc. For thorough mixing. disc In two different directions (cross else).
Prior to the second discing. raise the cisc to prevent cutting deeper than 4 to 6 Inches.
~oil Mixing (Incorporation) After Planting: Use power-driven cuftivation equipment set to cut to
a depth of 2 inches OR on light soils only. ground-driven tillers (rolling cuftivators. rotary hoe.
row wheels. etc.) set to cut to a depth of 1-1/2 Inches and operated at 6 to 8 mph. When
incorporating after planting. care must be taken not to disturb the crop seed or seedings.
Adjust tines or blades of incorporation equipment so they are directly over the driA row.
PLANTING - SOYBEANS. PEANUTS
Do not plant seed deeper than 2 inches. For VERNAM 1 D-G applications made before
planting. seeding can be done immediately or it may be delayed up to 10 days. If it is
necessary to work the soil following application and incorporation. but before planting. do not
work the soil deeper than the depth the herbicide was incorporated. To avoid removing
VERNAM 1D-G from the row (with loss of weed control in the row) do not move or shape soil
after treatment. such as by planting in deep furrows.
RECOMMENDATIONS
These recommendations are given in terms of broadcast (overall) rates of VERN AM 1o-G per
acre. For band or row applications. reduce broadcast rates proportionately depending on
band width to be treated and row spacing.
Peanuts
VERNAM 1o-G may be applied before planting. or Immediately after planting. When
Incorporating after planting. care must be taken not to disturb the seed. Broadcast Rate per
Acre - 20 pounds on sandy (light) soils; 25 pounds on sandy loam to clay loam (medium to
heavy) soils.
SOYBEANS
For Sovbeans ~rown In Midwestem. North Central and Northeastem States:
VERN AM 1D-G may be applied before planting by broadcasting 20 pounds on sandy (light)
soils. or 25 pounds on sandy loam to day loam (medium to heavy) soils.
VEP.NAM 1D-G may also be applied at planting or Immediately after planting by broadcasting
20 pounds on sandy (light) soils. 25 pounds on sandy loam to clay loam (medium to heavy)
soi~. and 30 pounds on clay (heavy) soils. When incorporating after planting. care must be

In the Midwest and North Central States only: VERNAM 1O-G may also be applied to the soil
surface immediately after planting without mixing it into the soil by broadcasting 30 pounds on
sandy (light) to clay (heavy) soils. This application method wi" not control nutgrass,
Johnsongrass from seed, wild cane or ve!yetleaf. Also, rainfall of at least one-half inch in one
rain Is necessary to carry tile chemical down to the germinating weed seeds. One or mora
Ight rains are not sufficient. Poor weed control wi. result If suffICient ran does not occur
within 7 days after application. If sufficient rainfall does not occur, or If weeds have emerged,
rotary hoeing or standard cultivation should be done before weeds become weD established.
For soybeans grown In the Southeastem States including North Carolina. SotJt,"! Carolina.
Geomia. Alabama. Florida. and Eastem Tennessee ITeM. River Eag>:
VERNAM 1O-G may be applied before planting or immeciately after planting. For applications
made before planting, do not plant in deep furrows or use shanks or other devices ahead of
planter which bring up untreated soil to the surface. For furrow planted soybeans, apply
VERNAM 1O-G immediately after planting in bands over the row and incorporate with row
wheels only. When incorporating after planting, care must be taken not to disturb the crop
seed or seedlings. Broadcast rates per acre - 20 pounds on sandy (light) soils and 25 pounds
on sandy loam to clay loam (medium to heavy) soils.
For sovbeans grown in the Southwestem States including Arkans&.s. Louisiana. New Mexico.
Texas. Oklahoma. Mississippi and Western Tennessee (Tenn. River West):
VERNAM 1O-G may be applied before planting or immediately after planting. When
incorporating at or after planting, care must be taken not to disturb the crop seed or seedlings.
Broadcast rates per acre - 20 pounds on sandy (light) soils; 25 pounds on sandy loam to clay
loam (medium to heavy) soils and 30 pounds on clay (very heavy) soils.
NOTE: If beds are made prior to planting soybeans, VERNAM 1O-G may be applied in a
band immediately ahead of the bedding discs set to cover the VERNAM 1O-G with 3 to 4
inches of soil. If bed levelers are used before planting soybeans, make the beds higher to
compensate for leveling, so 2 to 3 inchf .. of soil remains over the treatment after the planting
operation is done.
CULTURAL PRA ~TICES FOLLOWING AP~UCATION
VERNAM lo-G is not persistent In the soil, and susceptible weeds germinating later during the
growing season may not be controlled. Shallow cuHivation may be necessary to control these
late-germinating weeds. Do not cuHivate deeper than the depth of the herbicide incorporation.
Recommended preemergence or post-emergence herbicides may be applied over the top of
preplant incorporated applications of VERNAM l()'G when necessary to control weeds
resistant to VERNAM l()'G.
