w1nter or early spr1ng depending on the area. 3 + )e BROMlNALe is not 
registered for applicat10ns to s.all grains undersown with leg~s. 
The most i.portant factors for effective weed control are: 
1. Treat while weeds are s.a". 
2. Use the recommended rate. 
3. Thorough and un1form spray coverage. 
3 + 3e BROHINALe should be app11ed in late winter, or early spr1ng before 
broadleaf weeds have ~ore than four true leaves. Treat after s.all gra1n has 
three to four leaves or are t111ering. Earlier applicat10n May affect crop 
vi gor duri ng poc'r growi ng condi t 1 ons. I f severe wi nter dalllage ha s occurred, 
apply only after surv1v1ng plants have become re-established w1th n~w roots 
and leaves. 
Host weeds should be treated before the four leaf stage. Weeds fonning 
rosettes such as lIIustards, pennycress, tarweed, gr~e", and fiddleneck 
should be treated when they are less than 2 inches across. 
Where wild buckwheat and/or cow cockle are the pr1ncipal weeds HE4e 
BROHINALe alone lIIay be used; see HE4e BROHINAL. Brollloxynil Broadleaf 
HerbIcide label for direct1ons. 
Proper ti.1ng, rate of app11cat10n, and spray volume w111 vary accord1ng 
to the weeds present. Thorough and unifor. coverage is essent1al for ~ay.1mum 
weed control. W1de-spaced, low pressure, flood type nozzles do not prov1de 
satisfactory coverage. Use 10 or 1II0re gallons water per acre w1th ground 
;prayers. The .1niMum aerial spray vol~s 1n the dlrect10n for use tables 
Day not prov1d~ suff1cient spray coverage when weeds are dense or crop growth 
1s v1gorous. Nozzle pressure should be at least 30 psi. Swath width must not

Directions for use: Re.ave scale, pesticide residues and other foreign 
matter fr~ the cheeica1 tank and the entIre Injector syste.. Flush with 
clean water. Add 3 .. 3e BROHINALe Broad1eaf HerbicIde or 3 + 3e 
BROMlNALe and water dIlutIon to a elx tank. For greater accuracy in 
calibration and distribution, inject a larger quantity of a .ore dilute 
solution. 
For best perfonaance, set the sprinklers to deliver approximately 0.5 inch 
or less of water per acre. Start sprinklers and then Inject 3 + 3e 
BROMINALe into the irrigation line. 3 + 3e BROHlNALe Broadleaf 
Herbicide should be injected with a positive displacement pump into the eain 
line at least 8 feet ahead of a right angle turn to insure adequate mixing.

For cereals, use the 1.33 pint rate o~ weeds with 4 leaves. 'Follow

User precautions: Application of .are than 0.5 inch/acre of irrigation 
water .ay result in decreased product perfo~nce on certain soils. 
Apply 3 + 3e BROHlNALe only through systems containing antisiphon, 
check valves and interlocking controls between the metering device and the
