Image rebuild (skip scrape) / build (push) Failing after 1h37m12s
Dockerfile: self-contained image with corpus + Chroma + BM25 baked in. Drawbar's compose pulls + runs without volume mounts. Built from sources.json (labels schema), PRODUCT_NAME=crop_chem by default, HYBRID_SEARCH=true (always-on for production quality). RERANK_URL + OLLAMA_URL get set at compose time. .gitea/workflows/refresh.yml: monthly cron (1st @ 06:00 UTC) does full scrape → reindex → image push. Scrapes Bayer (~30 min) + EPA PPLS row-crop filtered (~7h). Skips reindex+push if no corpus diff. Tags pushed: :latest, :<sha12>, :corpus-<YYYY.MM.DD>. .gitea/workflows/image-only.yml: on-demand or auto on code-only pushes to main (paths: docs_mcp/, rag/, scrape/, requirements.txt, Dockerfile, sources.json). Reindexes from committed corpus, builds image, pushes. ~10 min vs ~9h full refresh. .gitignore: corpus/ now COMMITTED (4,159 labels, 265 MB of .md + sidecars). Lets image-only.yml rebuild indexes without re-scraping. chroma/ + bm25/ still gitignored (regenerable binary indexes). .dockerignore: drops venv, eval results, PLAN/README/CLAUDE.md, deploy/, .git/ — keeps the image lean. corpus + chroma + bm25 explicitly NOT in dockerignore (those go INTO the image). |
In£ormationonDropletSize
The most effective way to reduce drift potential is to
apply la.rge droplets. The bestdiift strategy is to
management strategy. to apply the largest droplets that
provide sufficientc:cNerage and control. 1>..pplying
larger droplets reduces drift potential, but will not
prevent drift if applications are made improperly, or
under unfavorable environmental conditions. (see Wind,
Temperature and Humidity, and Temperature Inversions) .
con.trolling Droplet Size
Volume - Use 3 high flow rate nozzles to apply the
highest practical spray volume. Nozzles with higher rated
flows produce larger droplets.
Pressure - Do not exceed the nozzle manufacturer's
recommended pressures. For may nozzle types lower
pressure produced larger droplets. When higher flow rates
are needed, use higher flow ra.te nozzles instead of
increasing pressure.
Number of noz:!Iles '-Use the minimum number of nozzles that
provide uniform coverage.
Nozzle Orientatibn- Orienting nozzles so that the spray is
released parallel to the airstream produces larger droplets
than other orientations and is the recommended practice.
Significant deflection from horizontal will reduce droplet
size and increase drift potential.
Nozzle Type - use nozzle type that is designed for the
intended application. With most nozzle types, narrow
stray angles produce larger droplets. Consider using
lowcdriftnozzles. Solid stream nozzles oriented
straight back produce the largest droplets and the
lowest drift.
Boom Length
page 3
EPA Reg. No.264-584
For some use patterns, reducing the effective boom
length to less than 3ftf of thewingspari or rotor
length may further reduce drift without reducing swath
width.
Applica.tion Height
Applications should not be made at a height greater
than 10 feet above the top of the largest plants
unless a greater height is requiredforzdrcraft
safety. Making applications at the lowest height
that is safe reduces exposure of droplets to
evaporation and wind.
Swath Adjustment
When applications are made with a crosswind, the
swath will be displaced downward. Therefore, on
the up and downwind edges of the field, the
applicator must compensate fOJ;' this displacement by
adjust:ing t:hepathof t:he aircraft upwind. Swatch
adjustment distance should increased,with
increasing drift potential (higher wind, smaller
drops, etc).
Wind
Drift potential is lowest between wind speeds of 2-
10 mph. However,manyfactors, including droplet
size and equipment type determine drift pot:ent:ial
at any given speed. Application sl;tOuld be avoided
below 2 mph due to variable wind direction and high
inversion potential. NOTE: Local terrain can
influence wind patterns. Every applicator should
be familiar with local wind patte=s and how they
affect spray drift. -
Temperature and H'ltIIlidity
•
When making applications in low relative humidity,
set up equipment to produce lai'ger droplets to
compensateforevaperation. Droplet evaporation
is most severe when conditions are both hot and dry.
Temperature Inversions
Applications should not occur during 11 temperature
inversion because-drift potential is high. Temperature
inversions restrict vertical air.mixing, which causes small
suspended droplets to remain in a cOllcentrated cloud. This
cloud can move in unpredictable directions due t:o the light
variable winds common during inversions. Temperature
inversions are characterized by increasing temperatures
with altitude and are common 6nnightswith limited cloud
cover and lightt.onowind. Theybegin to form as the sun
sets and often continue into themorriing. 'fheir presence

Sensitive Areas
The pesticide should only be applied when the potential for
drift to adjacent sensitive. areas (e.g. residential areas,
bodies of water, known habitat for threatened or endangered

specie,s, non~targetcrops) is minimal (e. g. when wind id

Vigorous, continuous agitation during mlxlng, tilling, and througl1out application is required for ali
tank mixes. Sparger pipe agltatorsgeneraUy provide the most effective agitation in spray tanks.
To prevent foaming in the spray tank, avoid stirring or splashing air interhe $praymixture. To
prevent foaming during filling, keep end of fill pipe below the surface olthe liquid in the spray tank.
Mixing Order: Fill the spray tankto tl4to l!3ofthetotal $pray volume required. Start agitation.
Add different formulation types in the order indicated below, allowing time for complete mixing and
dispersion after addition of each product. Allow extra mlldng and dispersion time for dry flowable
products.
Add different formulation types In the lollowingorder: Dry flowables(DF); wettable powders (WP);
aqueous suspensions (AS), flowables (F) and Uquids (ll.
Maintain agitation and lill spraytallk to 314 of total spray volume. Add Sedagri Trifturalin 480 and

other emulsifiable concentrates (EG) and any solutions (S).
Finish filling the spray tank. Malntaln continuous agitation during mixing, final tilling, and
throughout application. If spraying/agitation must be stopped before the spray lallk is empty. the
materials may settle to the bottom. Settled materials must be resuspertdedbefors spraying is
resumed. A sparger agitator is particuial1y useful for this purpoSe. Settled material may be more
difficult to resuspend than when origlnallyl11ixsd.
Precautions:
Read and carefully follow aU label instructions lor each material added fo the spray tank.
Do not allow water or spray mixture toback·siphon into a waler source.
Premixing: Dry and liowable formulations may be premixed with water (slurried) and added to

Testing Procedure
1. Add 1 pint of the liquid fertifizerto a quart jar.

Sprinkler ChemigatiQn DirectlQns:
The following directions musl be folfowed for all recommended sprinkler irrigation systems (center

1. The system must contain afunctional check valve, vac:uum relief valve, and low pressure
drain appropriately klcated on the irrigation pipeline to prevent water source contamination
from back-flow.
2. The pesticide inJectionplpefine must contain a functional, automatic, quick-ciosing check
valve to prevent the flow offluid back toward the injection pump.
3. The pesticide injection pipeline must also contain afunctional, normally closed, solenoid
operated valve located onIhe intake side olthe injection pump and connected to the system
interlock to prevent fluid from being withdrawn from the supply tank when the irrigation system
is either automatically Of manualiyshut down.
4. The system must conteinfunctionai interlocking controls to automatically shut off the pesticide
injection pump when the water pump motor stops.
Sedagri TrifluraHn 48O/draftl09-26f97
5. The irrigation line or water pumpmusUnclude a functional pressure switch which wifl stop the
water pump motor when the water pressure decreases to thepolnl that pesticide distribution
is adversely affected.
6. Systems must use a metering pump, such asa positive displacement injection pump (e.g.,
diaphragm pump) effectively designed and constructed of materials thatare compatible with
pesticides and capable of being fitted with a systeminferlock.
7. Do not apply when wind speed fuvOrs drift beyond{he area intended for treatment.
8. Sedagri Triflurafin 480 silouldbeinjected continuouslythroughouUhechemigation period.
The chemigation meleringpump should be checked periodicall{during application to insure
proper operation.
9. The injection metering pump must becalibrated as specified by the manufacturer.
10. Pesticide injection hoses which connect chemigatlon metering equipment to the sprinkler
irrigation System should be of bmided reinforced constructionwi!han internal tube made of
nylon, cross-linked polyethylene, or high denslty polyethylene.
11. SedagriTrifluralin 480 may causestainingofplastlc hoses and tanks.
12. Apply Sedagri Trifluralin 480 in sprinkler irrigation equal to 112 to 1 inch of water.

Chemlgation System Calibration:
Sample calculatron for use of Sedagri T rifluralin 480 in a chemigation system:.
• Assume, in this example, 133 acresare to be covered by a chemigation treatment.
• Product required, assuming 1.5 pint,. per acre is 199.5 pints
(133 acres X 1.5 pI/acre =199.5pt~ 25 gallons)
• Add 25 gallons 01 product directly to the injection supply tank.
• Adjust the injectron system to deliver 25 gallons during the time required to apply 1 inch of water
to 133 acres.
If the irrigation system requires 20 hours to apply 1 inch of water 10133 acres, the Injection rate is
1.25 gaVhr and is calCUlated as follows:
• 25 gal +20 hr = 1.2SgaVhr
1.25 gal/hr '" 160 fl ozihr
Proper calibration requires the injection pump lobe adjusted to deliver 2.7H ovm!n and is
calculated as foflows:
• 160 II ozihr + 60 min.lhr '" 2.71102 per min.
