Image rebuild (skip scrape) / build (push) Failing after 1h37m12s
Dockerfile: self-contained image with corpus + Chroma + BM25 baked in. Drawbar's compose pulls + runs without volume mounts. Built from sources.json (labels schema), PRODUCT_NAME=crop_chem by default, HYBRID_SEARCH=true (always-on for production quality). RERANK_URL + OLLAMA_URL get set at compose time. .gitea/workflows/refresh.yml: monthly cron (1st @ 06:00 UTC) does full scrape → reindex → image push. Scrapes Bayer (~30 min) + EPA PPLS row-crop filtered (~7h). Skips reindex+push if no corpus diff. Tags pushed: :latest, :<sha12>, :corpus-<YYYY.MM.DD>. .gitea/workflows/image-only.yml: on-demand or auto on code-only pushes to main (paths: docs_mcp/, rag/, scrape/, requirements.txt, Dockerfile, sources.json). Reindexes from committed corpus, builds image, pushes. ~10 min vs ~9h full refresh. .gitignore: corpus/ now COMMITTED (4,159 labels, 265 MB of .md + sidecars). Lets image-only.yml rebuild indexes without re-scraping. chroma/ + bm25/ still gitignored (regenerable binary indexes). .dockerignore: drops venv, eval results, PLAN/README/CLAUDE.md, deploy/, .git/ — keeps the image lean. corpus + chroma + bm25 explicitly NOT in dockerignore (those go INTO the image). DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Apron XL LS may only be used in accordance with directions on this label or separately
published EPA approved supplemental labeling for this product.
Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or
through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any
requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide
regulation.
Treatment of highly mechanically scarred or damaged seed or seed known to be of low vigor
and poor quality may result in reduced germination and/or reduction of seed and seedling
vigor. Treat a quantity of seed using equipment similar to that planned for treating the total
seed lot. Then conduct germination tests with a portion of this treated seed before
committing the total seed lot to a selected seed treatment.
Due to seed quality, crop or variety sensitivity, and seed storage conditions beyond the
control of Syngenta, no claims are made to guarantee the germination of carry-over seed or
propagating material for all crops when treated with Apron XL LS.

3.0 PRODUCT INFORMATION
Apron XL LS is a systemic fungicide seed treatment specifically for protection against
systemic downy mildews and diseases caused by soil-borne Pythium and Phytophthora spp.
When a rate range is specified, use higher specified rates of Apron XL LS when the disease
pressure is expected to be high.
For protection against other soil-borne diseases, including those caused by Fusarium spp.
and Rhizoctonia spp., Apron XL LS must be applied in combination with other registered
seed treatment fungicides.
Apply Apron XL LS as a water-based slurry through standard liquid-type seed treatment
equipment that provides uniform seed coverage. It is advised to use seed treaters with
atomizers or spinning discs for better product coverage on the seed.
3.1 Resistance Management
Apron XL LS contains mefenoxam, a Group 4 fungicide. Any fungal population may contain
individuals naturally resistant to Apron XL LS and other Group 4 fungicides. A gradual or
total loss of pest control may occur over time if these fungicides are used repeatedly in the
same fields. Follow appropriate resistance-management strategies.
Mefenoxam belongs to the phenylamide class of chemistry which interferes with fungal RNA
synthesis.
To delay fungicide resistance, take one or more of the following steps:
x Rotate the use of Apron XL LS or other Group 4 fungicides within a growing season
sequence with different groups that control the same pathogens.
x Use tank mixtures with fungicides from a different group that are equally effective on the
target pest when such use is permitted. Use at least the minimum application rate as
labeled by the manufacturer.
x Adopt an integrated disease management program for fungicide use that includes
scouting, uses historical information related to pesticide use, and crop rotation, and which
considers host plant resistance, impact of environmental conditions on disease
development, disease thresholds, as well as cultural, biological and other chemical control
practices.
x Where possible, make use of predictive disease models to effectively time fungicide
applications. Note that using predictive models alone is not sufficient to manage
resistance.
x Monitor treated fungal populations for resistance development.
x Contact your local extension specialist or certified crop advisor for any additional pesticide
resistance-management and/or IPM guidance for specific crops and pathogens.

x For further information or to report suspected resistance contact Syngenta at 1-866-796-
4368. You can also contact your pesticide distributor or university extension specialist to
report resistance.
Syngenta encourages responsible product stewardship to ensure effective long-term control
of the fungal diseases on this label.
4.0 APPLICATION DIRECTIONS
Important: Recirculate Apron XL LS thoroughly before using.
Follow the manufacturer’s application instructions for the seed treatment equipment being
used.
Apply Apron XL LS as a water-based slurry through standard liquid-type seed treatment
equipment that provides uniform seed coverage. It is advised to use seed treaters with
atomizers or spinning discs for better product coverage on the seed. The total application
volume must be sufficient to provide the desired level of coverage. Dilution is typically done
with water or liquid inoculants. Thoroughly mix the specified amount of Apron XL LS into the
required amount of water or liquid inoculant for the slurry treater and dilution rate to be used.
Uneven or incomplete seed coverage may not give the desired level of disease control.
Certain crops require addition of inoculants when the seed is treated or planted. Apron XL
LS is compatible with several liquid inoculant products. Consult the maker of the inoculant
product and a Syngenta representative for directions before applying Apron XL LS with
inoculants.
Continuous agitation or mixing of the slurry mixture is necessary to prevent settling out of the
solution. Clean out any unused product from the treater after treating or maintain constant
agitation if the leftover slurry will be maintained overnight.
Restrictions:
x Seed treated with this product must be visually identifiable from untreated seed by the use
of an approved colorant or dye to prevent accidental use of treated seed as food for
humans or feed for animals. Refer to 21 CFR Part 2.25. Any colorant or dye added to
treated seed must be cleared for use in accordance with 40 CFR Part 153.155(c).
x Allow seed to dry before bagging.
Follow planter manufacturer’s specifications for use of talc or other hopper box additives at
planting. Seed must be completely dry before adding to planter.
4.1 Tank Mixtures
Apron XL LS mixes easily with water and other water-based seed treatments. When mixing
with products from other manufacturers, test the compatibility prior to use by conducting a jar
test: Mix all intended seed treatments with a proportional amount of water to achieve the
desired slurry mixture in a clear glass container. Mix well and allow mixture to sit for one
hour. Remix and observe for incompatibility.
Apron XL LS
Page 10
Mixing Apron XL LS with tank-mix partners: Add ½ of the required water to the mix tank
and turn on the agitation. Mechanical agitation is preferred. If using wettable powders, add
them first to clean water allowing them to completely disperse prior to adding Apron XL LS or
other products. Allow each tank-mix partner to completely disperse before adding the next
product. Add the remaining amount of water and agitate. Maintain agitation until the entire
slurry mixture has been used.
For protection against other soil-borne diseases, including those caused by Fusarium spp.
and Rhizoctonia spp., apply Apron XL LS in combination with other registered seed treatment
fungicides.
It is the pesticide user’s responsibility to ensure that all products are registered for the
intended use. Read and follow the applicable restrictions and limitations and directions for
use on all product labels involved in tank-mixing. Users must follow the most restrictive
directions for use and precautionary statements of each product in the tank mixture.
USE RESTRICTION: When using formulations that do not contain dye, to comply with 40
CFR 153.155, all seed treated with an economic poison must be colored with an EPA
approved dye including one of the dyes listed in 40 CFR Sections 180.910 and 180.920 to
distinguish and prevent subsequent inadvertent use as food for man or feed for animals.
5.0 ROTATIONAL CROP RESTRICTIONS
In the event of a crop failure or harvest of a crop grown from seed treated with Apron XL LS,
the field may be replanted immediately with any crops.
6.0 SEED CONTAINER LABEL REQUIREMENTS
THE FEDERAL SEED ACT REQUIRES THAT CONTAINERS OF SEEDS TREATED WITH
APRON XL LS MUST BE LABELED WITH THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS:
