Image rebuild (skip scrape) / build (push) Failing after 1h37m12s
Dockerfile: self-contained image with corpus + Chroma + BM25 baked in. Drawbar's compose pulls + runs without volume mounts. Built from sources.json (labels schema), PRODUCT_NAME=crop_chem by default, HYBRID_SEARCH=true (always-on for production quality). RERANK_URL + OLLAMA_URL get set at compose time. .gitea/workflows/refresh.yml: monthly cron (1st @ 06:00 UTC) does full scrape → reindex → image push. Scrapes Bayer (~30 min) + EPA PPLS row-crop filtered (~7h). Skips reindex+push if no corpus diff. Tags pushed: :latest, :<sha12>, :corpus-<YYYY.MM.DD>. .gitea/workflows/image-only.yml: on-demand or auto on code-only pushes to main (paths: docs_mcp/, rag/, scrape/, requirements.txt, Dockerfile, sources.json). Reindexes from committed corpus, builds image, pushes. ~10 min vs ~9h full refresh. .gitignore: corpus/ now COMMITTED (4,159 labels, 265 MB of .md + sidecars). Lets image-only.yml rebuild indexes without re-scraping. chroma/ + bm25/ still gitignored (regenerable binary indexes). .dockerignore: drops venv, eval results, PLAN/README/CLAUDE.md, deploy/, .git/ — keeps the image lean. corpus + chroma + bm25 explicitly NOT in dockerignore (those go INTO the image). SOIL PREPARATION
Good soil preparation is essential for best results. Destroy existing weeds
before herbicide application. Chop and thoroughly .ix crop residue into the
80il to a depth of at least 4 to 6 inches by deep plowing or discing before
application. Uae .. chinery that breakl up large clods.
Before application deter.ine soil texture in order to apply the correct rate.
Rates given in this booklet refer to the following soil texture grou~s:
Coarae aoila: sand, loa.y aand, .andy loa.
Mediu. aoila: loa., ailty clay loa., .ilt 10", .ilt, aandy clay loa.

GROUND APPLICATION
Apply in 5 to 40 ,allons of water/acre (broadcast basis) usina any properly
calibrated low-pressure sprayer that will unifor.ly apply the spray. Pour the
reco .. ended a~unt of product into the spray tank durina the fillina operation
and .ix thorouahly before aprayina. Aa the a~unt of water decreaaes, the
i.portance of acccurate calibration and uniform application increaaea. Check
the sprayer daily. Do not apply the herbicide to soils which are wet or in poor
condition or to aoils which 3re subject to prolonaed periQda of floodina.
AERIAL APPLICATION
For beat reaulta apply to a dry soil surface at a apray volu~ of from 5 to 10
aallona/acre. Adjuat pump presaure, nozzle arranae.enta, flyina apeed and
heiaht to provide uniform application. Use .. rkers or flaamen to a.aure proper
application .pray widths. Do not apply when the wind ia blowina at a velocity
of 5 mph or areater.
INCORPORATION
Before pi6ntina.
For beat results the herbi, ide must be incorporated within 24 hours after appli
cation. A aecond incorporation i. required at any time prior to plant ina usina
the equipment in a different direction fro. the firat. Incorporation should
place the product into the top 2 or 3 inches of the final seedbed. Variable
weed control may result from delayed incorporation if the herbicide is applied
to a wet, warm soil surface or if the wind velocity is 10 .ph or hiaher.
After plantina.
When incorporatina after plant ina (check crops approved for incorporation after
plantina), use P.T.O.-driven equipment or Rollina Cultivators and adjust to till
the soil over the seed or throw treated soil toward the crop. Avoid disturbing
the seed or mechanically damaging the crop.
In bedded culture.
For effective weed control in bedded culture the product ahould be incorporated
into the top 2 to 3 inches of the final aeedbed. When applying prior to
bedding, apply and incorporate one ti.e. The bedding operation .erves as the
aecond incorporation. When ~pplying after bedding, knock off beds to planting
height before application and incorporation on bedded aroulld. Avoid re~val of
treated soil from the seedbed before or durin, the plant ina operation. This
will expose untreated soil and allow weeda to v.er.inate in the drill row.
Equipment.
For incorporation uae machinery which pulverizes large clods and mix the her
bicide thoroughiy with the aoil. Tho,ouah incorporation may be achieved with
the following: Disc, set to cut 4 to 6 inchea deep and operated in two dif-

cial precautiona.
Individusl atate regulationa relating to liquid fertilizer mixing, regiatration,

Teating for Tank Mix Compatibility in Liquid F.~tili •• ra: Trifluralin 4AT alone
or in tank mixture with dry flowablea, wettable powdera (wp), aqueoua auspen
aions (AS), flowables (F), liquids (L), or aolutions (S) may not combine pro
perly with some fluid fertilizer aaterials. Saall quantities should always be
tested before full-scale mixing. Thi~ will determine whether a compatibility
agent is needed, and which agent does the best job. The eight agents listed on
the following page have been thoroughly teated. There are many other yurfac
tants on the market which were not designed for use with liquid fertilizers.
Uae the following teat to aelect the correct agent for your mixture.
1. Put 1 pint of the liquid fertilizer in a quart jar.
2. Add I to 4 teaspoon(s) of the dry flowable, WP, AS, F or L formulati~n
(depending on the recommended rate per acre) to the liquid fertilizer.
Close jar and agitate until the aaterials are di3persed evenly in the
fertilizer. If the materials do not dispen'e well, it may be necessary to
slurry the chemicals in water before adding t~ the fertilizer.
3. After dispersing the materials (Step 2), add 3 to 4 teaspoons of Trifluralin
4AT to th~ jar and shake well. Add solution herbicides to the mixture last
and agitate. Observe the jar for about 10 minutes. If the aaterials rise
to the surface and form a thick layer (oily curds) which will not redisperse
when agitated, a compatibility agent is needed. If the mixture is easily
redisperaed to ita original atate with slight agitation, no agent ia needed
but good agitation must be provided in the fertilizer apray lank.
4. If the Deed for a compatibility agent ia ahoWD in Step 3: Uain& a clean
quart jar, start at Step 1 sbove, add 1/2 teaspoon of the compatibility
agent to the liquid fertilizer, mix well, then repeat S~eps 2 and 3.
An effective compatibility agent will cause the mixture to remain uniformly
mixed with little or no separating or oil riaing to the aurface for one half
hour or longer.' Riverside Combine has been thoroughly tested and approved as an
effective compatibility agent. If slight aeparation does occur, 2 to 3 inver
aions of the jar ahould give a uniform remix. If oily curda form which will not
redisperae, more Riverside Combine or another agent ahould be tried. • ,. : .. :.: ...,. . .
Uae a clean jar for each teat. The compatible mixture viII have

appearance and will be relatively easy to keep mixed with gentle

LIQUID FERTILIZER MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Eaulsifiable concentratea, such as Trifluralin 4AT. can be aiKed with liquid
fertilizers. In all casea, continuous agitation ia required to prevent the
Trifluralin 4AT froa rising to the surface as an oily layer. When necessary,
(see Testing for Tank MiK Coapatibility in Liquid Fertilizers) a coapatibility
agent can be used to cause the Trifluralin ~AT to eaulsify properly (i.e., have
a ailky appearance rather than an oily layer). The use of coapatibility agents
is especially iaportant when tank aixing eaulsifiable concentrates "(E.C.) with
dry flowables, wettable powders (WP), aqueous suspensions (AS), flowables (F),
liquids (L), or solutions (S) in liquid fertilizer. If the eaulsion ia not pro
perly foraed and the Trifluralin 4AT rises to the lurface of the fertilizer as
an oil ("oils out"), the oil asy coabine with the wettable powder, flowable, or
suspension to fora oily curds (viscous phase) which are difficult to redisperse.
Anyone of the coapatibility agents liated below il helpful in causing liquid
concentrates to fora non-oiling aixturel with liquid fertilizers. These coa
patibility agents can be used at rates as low as 1-1/2 to 2 pints per ton of
liquid fertilizer and should be aixed well with the fertilizer before adding the
liquid concentrate. Read the label on the compatibiity agent and follow the
directions.
