The following rotational crops may be planted after applying ALA-SCEPT at 
recommend£d rates in soybeans: 
1. Wheat may be planted in the f{lll, four months after ALA-SCEPT 
application in soybeans. Rice may be planted in the spring of the 
year following ALA-SCEPT application (See Northern Use Area 
Restrictions*) .

Gemini, Lorox Plus, Preview 1 , etc.), imazaquin (e.g. SCEPTER, SQUADRON-, 
TRI-SCEpte, etc. [refer to th" SEQUENTIAL PROGRAM section of this label for 
exceptions), or imazethapyr (e.g. PURSUIt8, PURSUIt8 PLUS, etc.) the same 
year as AU-SCEPT or injury to follow crops may occur. 
In the event of a crop loss due to weather conditions, soybeans can be 
replanted, DO NOT work the soil deeper than 2 inches.

MIXING PRECAUTIONS 
The use of a mechanical transfer system is required to be used by all 
mixer/loaders and/or applicators who treat 300 acres or more annually with 
pesticides containing alachlor as an active ingredient. 
Direct contact or exposure to this product should be minimized. The 
following instructions for transfer, mlxlng, cleaning or repairing 
equipment should be followed in order to minimize this exposure. Review 
the protective clothing requirements as listed in the PRECAUTIONARY 
STATEMENTS section of this label and do not use this product until you are 
wearing the necessary protf'c t i ve clothing.

compatibility of this product and the labeled tank mixtures recommended for 
use with liquid f2rtilizer carrier. 
If applied in liquid fertilizer, application MUST be made prior to crop

Fill the spray lank one-half full with clean water or liquid fertil izer. 
While agitating add the required lUIIount of AiA-SCEPT and then fill the 
remainder of the tank with water or liquid fartilber. An antifoallling 
agent lIay be added 1;0 the tank if needed. Maintain agitation while 
spraying to ensure a uniform spray lIixture. 
When tank mixing AiA-SCEPT with recolIJIended herbicides, add the AL\-SCHT 
to the spray tank first and make sure it is thoroughly mixed before addin!'.

Thorough agitation is required until the contents of the tank are sprayed. 
If the spray mixture is allowed to settle, the contents in the tank must be 
resuspend.,d before spraying is resumed. This lIay involv~ vigorous and 
prolonged agitation. 
SPRAYING INSTlDCTIONS 
DO NOT make applications ",hen spray may be carried by wind to sensitive 
crops. 
Avoid overlaps when sprayinf,. 
GROUND APPLICATIONS: 
Uniformly apply with pr0I'(OrJv calibrated ground equipment in 10 or 1:(" ,. 
gallons of water per acre. Use sprayers equipped with nozzles that provid. 
accurate and uniform application. To minimize drift, use a maximum spr;;y 
pressure of 40 psi. 
Keep by-pass line on or near bottom of tank to minimize foaming. Nozzle or 
line strainer screen size should be no finer than 50 mesh. Check for ev<'n 
distribution of spray droplets. 
To ensure thorough coverage, use a mlnlmum of 20 gallons of ",ater per acre 
when applying AiA-SCEPT Co minimum or no-till soybeans. Use higher 
gallonage for fields "'ith dense vegetation or heavy crop residues. 
DO NOT apply with ground equipment when wind velocity is greater than 10 
mph. 
For band treatment, apply the broadcast equivalent rate and volume per

control werd species (1.e., seedling Johnsongrass, grou!ldcherry, 
nightshade, smartweed, Texas panicum), Lasso herbicide can be added to the
