Dear Oscar Perez Ovilla: 
 
The amended label referred to above, submitted in connection with registration under the 
Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), as amended, is acceptable. This 
approval does not affect any conditions that were previously imposed on this registration. You 
continue to be subject to existing conditions on your registration and any deadlines connected 
with them. 
 
The alternate brand name, “Nuvan ShieldStrips” has been added to the product record. 
 
A stamped copy of your labeling is enclosed for your records. This labeling supersedes all 
previously accepted labeling. You must submit one copy of the final printed labeling before you 
release the product for shipment with the new labeling. In accordance with 40 CFR § 
152.130(c), you may distribute or sell this product under the previously approved labeling for 
18 months from the date of this letter. After 18 months, you may only distribute or sell this 
product if it bears this new revised labeling or subsequently approved labeling. “To distribute or 
sell” is defined under FIFRA section 2(gg) and its implementing regulation at 40 CFR § 152.3. 
 
Should you wish to add/retain a reference to the company’s website on your label, then please 
be aware that the website becomes labeling under FIFRA and is subject to review by the 
Agency. If the website is false or misleading, the product would be misbranded and unlawful to 
sell or distribute under FIFRA section 12(a)(1)(E). 40 CFR § 156.10(a)(5) lists examples of

statements EPA may consider false or misleading. In addition, regardless of whether a website 
is referenced on your product’s label, claims made on the website may not substantially differ 
from those claims approved through the registration process. Therefore, should the Agency find 
or if it is brought to our attention that a website contains false or misleading statements or 
claims substantially differing from the EPA approved registration, the website will be referred 
to the EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance. 
 
Your release for shipment of the product constitutes acceptance of these conditions. If these 
conditions are not complied with, the registration will be subject to cancellation in accordance 
with FIFRA section 6.

• Take off contaminated clothing. 
• Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. 
• Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. 
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN 
Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. POISONING SYMPTOMS: This product is a 
cholinesterase inhibitor. Symptoms include weakness, headache, tightness in chest, blurred vision, non- reactive pin point 
pupils, salivation, sweating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps. TREATMENT: Atropine is the specific 
therapeutic antagonist of choice against parasympathetic nervous stimulation. If there are signs of parasympathetic 
stimulation, atropine sulfate should be injected at 10 -minute intervals in doses of 1 to 2 milligrams until complete 
atropinization has occurred. Morphine is contraindicated. 2- PAM is also antidotal and may be administered in 
conjunction with atropine. Clear chest by postural drainage.

WARNING: May be fatal if swallowed. Do NOT get in mouth. Harmful if inhaled. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid 
breathing vapors. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. After prolonged storage, a small amount of liquid may form on strip. 
Do NOT get liquid in eyes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing 
gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. 
 
User Safety Requirements 
 
Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent 
and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. 
 
User Safety Recommendations 
Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Users should remove 
clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Users should remove 
PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash 
thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. 
 
USE RESTRICTIONS 
 Do NOT apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet directly. Keep people and pets out of the 
area during application. 
 Do NOT use in the food/feed areas of food/feed processing or food/feed manufacturing or food/feed service 
establishments, except in garbage containers with lids. Serving areas where food is exposed and the facility is in 
operation are also considered food areas. Product may be used in serving areas that are not in operation and have 
no exposed food. Non -food/feed areas of these establishments where the product can be used are areas such as , 
garbage rooms, lavatories, floor drains ( to sewers) and vestibules, offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler 
rooms, garages, mop-closets, and product storage (after canning or bottling).

Remove the pre-assembled product from the sealed bag when ready to use . Do NOT allow children to handle new or used 
product. [Place] [or] [Hang ] away from windows and out of the reach of children and pets. [ To apply product to vertical 
surfaces, use the enclosed stickers ]. [Peel tape on special Velcro® strip. Attach one Velcro strip to the product, and the 
other to the outdoor garbage container lid.] [Peel tape from adhesive strip. Attach one side to the product , and the other to 
the outdoor garbage container lid .] Drafts, weather and other conditions may affect the performance, but treatment 
usually lasts for four (4) months. Record the date of installation and replace with a new, fresh unit at the end of four (4) 
months or when effectiveness diminishes. [For superior adhesion , clean surface of all residues before applying the enclosed 
clip to the surface.] 
Always use the appropriate size and number of product units for the space being treated. One unit will treat [up to 50 cu ft 
for 5.25 g units], [up to 100 cu ft for 10.5 g units ], [up to 200 cu ft for 16 g units ] for up to four (4) months. If more than one 
unit is needed for the space being treated, space them evenly throughout the treatment area.

HOW IT WORKS: This product utilizes controlled release technology to slowly diffuse a deep penetrating vapor in enclosed 
spaces for up to four (4) months. The clean, odorless vapor is evenly distributed throughout the enclosed treatment area, 
killing visible and hidden insects on contact and preventing new insect infestations [while you’re away].

This product may only be used in closets, wardrobes and cupboards. This product gives continuous protection against 
moths, silverfish, cockroaches and other listed insect pests and leaves no smell [or odor]. This product may be hung from or 
stood on a rail within the closet or wardrobe. Ensure that the product will not contact clothes or fabric and ensure that air 
can circulate around it . Keep the treated space closed. Do NOT use more than the number of product units recommended 
for the space to be treated. Do NOT allow children or pets to play or sleep in these areas when treatment is in progress. Do 
NOT allow children to handle new or used product. Do NOT use in any area where people will be for more than four (4) 
hours per day [e.g., Living Room, Family Room]. 
 
Garages [Storage Units] [Storage Bins] [Attics] [Enclosed Crawl Spaces] [Boathouses] [and] [Non-
food/feed areas of food/feed processing or food/feed manufacturing or food/feed service 
establishments] 
This product controls flies, mosquitoes, gnats and other listed insect pests [for up to four (4) months]. Do NOT use in any

away from windows. Calculate cubic feet of air space to determine the number of product units required for treatment. 
Place product so as not to impede air circulation. When multiple units are required, distribute them uniformly over the

Museum Collections 
Use this product to protect museum collections and other similar materials from damaging pests when this is a concern. 
Place product in close proximity or within collection boxes using care to avoid contact with collectible and valuable items. 
Do NOT use in any area where people will be for more than four (4) hours per day. 
 
Garbage Cans With Lids [Trash Dumpsters, Trash Bins, and Mobile Garbage Bins located outdoors or in 
garages] 
For the control of flies, attach the product inside the can or dumpster and keep the lid closed. [Attach with enclosed cable 
tie to the hinges of the garbage container.] [Attach enclosed clip to the garbage container lid and insert product .] [Attach

rooms and dog kennels. Do NOT contaminate food, water, foodstuffs, milk or milking equipment by direct contact with the 
product. Do NOT use in any area where people will be for more than 4 hours per day.

Milk Rooms 
This product c ontrols flies, mosquitoes and gnats in milk rooms and bulk storage rooms. Do NOT contaminate milk or 
milking equipment by direct contact with the product . Do NOT use in any area where people will be for more than four (4) 
hours per day. 
 
Agricultural Commodities 
This product controls listed stored product insect pests [including] [almond moths] [cocoa moths] [Indianmeal moths] [and] 
[Mediterranean flour moths] infesting non- perishable packaged and bagged or bulk- stored processed and raw agricultural 
commodities (such as cocoa beans, corn, grains, peanuts and soybeans). Do NOT contaminate foods. Do NOT allow this 
product to contact foods. Calculate the cubic feet of air space above the commodity to determine the number of product 
units required for treatment. Treat in early spring before moths begin to emerge. Replace product when needed to prevent 
egg laying by moths. Hang product so as not to impede air circulation. When multiple units are required, distribute them 
uniformly over the treated space. Do NOT use in any area where people will be for more than four (4) hours per day. 
 
Catch Basins 
To control mosquitoes breeding in catch basin s, suspend product about ten inches above the water level. Product may 
control mosquitoes for 10 to 15 weeks. Do NOT use in any area where people will be for more than four (4) hours per day. 
 
Enclosed Utility Boxes 
This product controls mosquitoes and other listed insect pests which commonly infest utility enclosures, cabinets , conduits, 
junctions boxes, enclosed electrical panels , motor control rooms. Record installation date and replace when effectiveness 
diminishes. 
 
Reptile Houses and Terrariums 
This product controls mites on reptiles. In reptile houses, hang the appropriate number of product units for the space to be 
treated for proper control . Do NOT over-treat. In t errariums, cover the top of an open terrarium having a minimum size of 
10 cu ft with a wire screen and place the product on the screen for no more than 48 hours. Make sure that the reptiles 
cannot touch or contact the product . Product must be removed after the 48 -hour treatment interval. Product is NOT 
intended for treatment of aviaries or birdcages . Do NOT use in any area where people will be for more than four (4) hours 
per day. 
 
For Use as a Fly Killer 
Kills flies and other listed insect pests for up to four (4) months. Remove from sealed bag and [hang] [or] [stand], out of 
reach of children and pets, in an open space of an enclosed area, away from windows. [Peel tape on special Velcro strip. 
Attach one Velcro strip to the product, and the other to the garbage container lid.] [For superior adhesion , clean surface of 
all residues before applying the enclosed clip to the surface.] One unit will treat [up to 50 cu ft for 5.25 g units ] [up to 100 
cu ft for 10.5 g units ] [up to 200 cu ft for 16 g units ] for up to four (4) months. In a larger space if more than one unit is 
required, keep them at least 10 feet apart. Do NOT use in any area where people will be for more than four (4) hours per 
day. 
 
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL 
DO NOT contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. 
PESTICIDE STORAGE: Keep this product in its tightly closed original container, protected from freezing temperatures and 
away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Store in a secure, cool, dry (preferably locked) area that is inaccessible to 
children and animals. DO NOT store near food or feed. DO NOT open or remove from package before ready to install. 
PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: DO NOT contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Wastes resulting from the use of 
this product must be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility. 
CONTAINER HANDLING: 
Foil Pouch Packaging: DO NOT open or remove from package before ready to use. Disposal: If empty : DO NOT reuse 
container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partly filled : Call your solid waste agency or 1- 800-CLEANUP 
for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.

Inner Container: Nonrefillable container. DO NOT reuse or refill this container. Offer for recycling if av ailable or dispose of 
the container in trash. 
Used Product: Used product should be wrapped in paper and discarded in the trash.

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. 
 
Remove the pre-assembled product from sealed bag when ready to use. Place away from windows and out of reach of 
children and pets. Drafts, weather and other conditions may affect the performance, but treatment usually lasts for four (4) 
months. One 5.25 g unit will treat 25 to 50 cu. ft. One 10.5 g unit will treat 50 to 100 cu. ft. One 16 g unit will treat 100-200 
cu. ft. Record the date of installation and replace with a new, fresh unit at the end of four (4) months or when effectiveness 
diminishes. Do not use in food/feed processing or food/feed manufacturing or food/feed service establishments. Non-
food/feed areas of these establishments where the product can be used are areas such as garbage rooms, lavatories, floor 
drains (to sewers), entries and vestibules, offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets, and 
product storage (after canning or bottling). This product controls flies, gnats, mosquitoes, moths, silverfish, cockroaches, 
spiders, beetles, earwigs, and other listed insects.

Controls flies, mosquitoes, gnats and other insects as listed. 
WITHIN HOMES, USE ONLY IN CLOSETS, WARDROBES AND CUPBOARDS. ALSO FOR USE IN STORAGE UNITS AND 
STORAGE BINS. 
DO NOT USE IN AREAS OF A HOME WHERE PEOPLE WILL BE PRESENT FOR MORE THAN FOUR (4) HOURS PER DAY (e.g. 
Living Room, Family Room). 
Gives continuous protection against moths, silverfish, cockroaches and other listed insect pests in closets, wardrobes , 
cupboards, storage units and storage bins for up to four (4) months and leaves no odor. Remove product from sealed bag 
and hang or stand on wardrobe or closet rail, ensuring that the product does not contact clothes or fabrics and that air can 
circulate around the product . Keep the space closed. One 5.25 g unit will treat a space of 25 to 50 cu. ft. for up to four (4) 
months. One 10.5 g unit will treat a space of 50 to 100 cu. ft. for up to four (4) months. One 16 g unit will treat a space of 
100-200 cu. ft. for up to four (4) months. If more than one is required, distribute them over the space equally. Record the 
date of installation and replace with a new, fresh unit at the end of the four ( 4) month period or when effectiveness 
diminishes. 
 
Do NOT use more than the number of units recommended for the space to be treated. Do NOT use in closets and 
wardrobes of hospital rooms or clinic rooms, such as patient rooms, wards, nurseries, operating or emergency areas . Do 
NOT allow children or pets to play or to sleep in these areas when treatment is in progress. 
 
GARBAGE CANS WITH LIDS AND TRASH DUMPSTERS 
For control of flies in garbage cans with lids and dumpsters, attach appropriate sized product unit (One 5.25 g unit will treat 
25 to 50 cu. ft. One 10.5 g unit will treat 50 to 100 cu. ft. One 16 g unit treats 100-200 cu. ft.) inside can or dumpster. Keep 
lid on can and dumpster closed. 
 
ATTICS, GARAGES, AND ENCLOSED CRAWL SPACES 
DO NOT USE IN AREAS OF A HOME WHERE PEOPLE WILL BE PRESENT FOR MORE THAN FOUR (4) HOURS PER DAY . 
 
FOR USE AS A FLY KILLER 
Kills flies and other listed insects for up to four (4) months. Remove from sealed bag and hang or stand, out of reach of 
children and pets, in an open space of an enclosed area, away from windows. One 5.25 g unit will treat 25-50 cu. ft. which is 
about equal to a space of 8’ x 3’x 2’ for up to four (4) months. One 10.5 g unit will treat 50-100 cu. ft. which is about equal 
to a space 8’ x 6’ x 2’ for up to four (4) months. One 16 g unit will treat 100-200 cu. ft. which is about equal to a space of 8’ x 
8’ x 3’ for up to four (4) months. In a larger space if more than one unit is required, keep them at least 10 feet apart. Record 
the date of installation and replace with a new, fresh product unit at the end of the four (4) month period or when 
effectiveness diminishes.
